Tried SAVING Off-Line, but that didn't work either.
Does anyone think it is strange that AC and PC have the same issue here, but Forza games do not? After so long with this issue, it does not make logical sense that a solution can not be found, and then to have the same issue in AC? Really makes you wonder if these programmers really know what they are doing or not. I would speculate that it is patch on patch on patch, and at some point it is never going to get any better.
If this doesn't get any better pretty soon, I might have to get a PC computer to end all this Console crap!

I followed the instructions that others have said work for them re the saving of setups but it still doesn't work for me. The interface alone is a massive ball ache for tuning and it's kind of like guess work trying to get to a point where you think you have saved it. I saved one a couple of days ago but last night it was not there again so I have no idea how others can get them to save.
Project Cars is a piece of cake compared to AC in that regard. The only issue with that is the fact you can only save one setup per track.

2nd attempt was better since I know the corners slightly better now, but had to keep at least 10% SC on to keep it under control! From the pit also.

First go tonight.. just a handful of laps but oh what fun Such a joy to drive around this legendary circuit. Just a bit of a Sunday drive for this first endeavour as I attempt to get the corners embedded in my noggin. Best of 8:52.333. No assists and stock setup except for lengthening the ratio one click for that long straight. Now I've given it a go I'll definitely be looking to get a serious session in over the next few days. You really need at least an hour in one sitting to get any sort of rhythm for this one.

Not sure if its just an issue that im experiencing, but im finding that i have a massive difference when adjusting the settings to make the figures match up on the telemetry? For example, ive got a .4 of a difference between left and right on the front camber. Also im finding that when i load up ac,i can input the settings i used last time and yet the telemetry figures will be out of kilter...maybe this is related to the save issue??

Reading on the AC forum I seem to remember that difference in the camber setting was mentioned as being something to do with the fact that the pit lane is not completely level in some garages. Does that make sense? I'll see if I can find it. Of course the second issue you mentioned shouldn't be effected by that. Settings should give the same telemetry result session to session.

It makes sense, and it means that ive been driving a car that handles like a pig lol. It would be good if ac could make you aware of it in their tuning descriptions.

Had another run out here last night.. admittedly it was after some mulled wine so not ideal lol. Got my time consistently down to the 8:40's but kept just running wide at a few places in the section about three-quarters of a lap round and invalidating the laps. Loving it though. Not tuned at all so far.

ok had a go and unfortunately it just reinforced my opinion that AC and me do not get on. horrible horrible with my wheel I get no sense of speed or lateral weight movement .
and what is the new tyre widget showing me I assume the number in the middle of the widget is an average but when I leave pits the middle number plummets and bears no relation to the other 3 figures
I will persevere but not looking good

Just had another run out on this, possibly my last go seeing as its xmas. 7.48'6 is my best attempt. With a bit more time im sure i could find an extra 2 or 3 seconds, because i still haven't got to grips with all the circuit yet.

It is a long one, but a good time to start to learn it. I kind of like that the 911 does not have much to adjust, especially pleased with the diff settings. Would be nice if the non-adjustable fields were actually shown in a dimmed mode. Hard to make any real assessment without all the car data, having to rely on feel only!
