I’m not sure I’ve been accepted as a forum member as of yet. But I’d be super stoked if I could participate in this TC league. WONKAMAN DAN 👆🏻brought this to my attention.
Regards,
Tom.

XRF Lemarrrr ReadingRich you might want to get some testing in following this latest patch. Our Vintage F1 race was ruined due to a return of the old connection issues and we had to abandon it without even getting through the first corner :/ Very reminiscent of the post patch issues of old!!

But the patch happened 2 weeks ago. There was a small update (500-700mb or something like that) for the game a day or 2 ago, it downloaded last night before I practiced. It supposedly fixed the connection issues we just encountered🙄, fix the pit stop reset glitch, and a few other things. I had to reset my wheel because there was low FFB, ended up in the view of another driver while still in control of my own car, and launched into orbit when I tried changing the camera views🤨🤣

But the patch happened 2 weeks ago. As Tyler said it was a small patch that I got Tuesday (I think) about 180mb if I recall correctly. Project CARS 2 - XB1 Update 1.7.1.0
Adjusted issue with the number of drivers in an online game to allow for private broadcaster/director games without a broadcaster role being assigned.
Resolved a problem where custom setups would be reverted to defaults when pitting.
Fixed an issue where qualifying penalties were only applied to the host in an online game.
Fixed a problem with loading the "Loose" tuning setup when the game language was not set to English. We struggled to get the lobby going but after about 20-30 minutes or so finally got going after numerous reboots and everyone trying to create a lobby but Greg kept getting booted even once we seemed to get one working. We started a practice the race without him and then all hell let loose at the green lights...

Sounds rather ominous, hopefully it’ll settle down by Saturdays race, was it similar to the issues we had when we first started the Indycar League?

It was a little different in so far as it was very difficult to actually create a lobby at all and then when one was created the invites wouldn't work. Eventually after several reboots we got a lobby created but then a couple of us couldn't get in at all. The final lobby got us all in but when we got to the qualifying session Greg was getting continually booted. We all seemed to have odd wheel issues too during qualifying but we managed to complete the session albeit Greg couldn't stay in long enough to complete a lap. He was getting booted whenever he tried to change the fuel level in his car :/ We decided to cancel the race as far as the league was concerned and reschedule it at that point but those of us still connected decided to continue with a practice. At the green light Tylers car slewed across the track in front of me and we collided but I didn't pick up any damage but everything went weird and stuttery so I parked up just i the middle of the chicane and then got s strange error message about changing something in my network.
All in all a very frustrating experience again. There don;t seem to be any reports on the forum so who knows.. maybe a temporary glitch for some reason.

How do these patches get released if they’re clearly not ready? Or are these issues a result of the settings we’ve had to use in the past not working like they used to?
