Qualy 9th Race 5th
Qualy - Put in a banker lap then ballsed up my 2nd & 3rd runs so a pretty poor qualy.
Race - Was happy to finish top 5 after 2 big spins at the exact same spot going around pouhon, had some good wheel to wheel action with the guys coming from 9th to 5th. Looking forward to the next one.

Well to say i was pissed of with myself was a understatement last night.. Had a ok qually i guess as i set up to look after tyres more than speed. . But carries good speed in the sector 2 Kept out of trouble on the opening laps and had a few very bum squeaky moments avoiding spinners got to lap 17 in for tyres in 5th place Both me and hrh had a few good laps swapping places many times clean and fair. So in for tyres hrh stayed out and got me on the undercut.. got back past on the camel straight . Three laps later felt the back end go on orouge and i bailed out hit the wall rear end first lost half my front wing. Made it back round to pits were i was distracted by a ghosting mclaren going into the pits and tapped the wall and spun. Side ways had to option but to put it into reverse and was disqualified for reversing on pit lane Stupid bloody game guess rules are rules but on such a tight pit entry were you have no choice as you cant just use the wall to get straight with raw power what you ment to do... Monza next Overall enjoyed the racing i did have for the 21 laps with hrh I went to your car just as you hit that pit wall Stealth... unfortunate one. Better luck in Italy buddy.

Boothy, super softs and softs..assume you were on Soft and Medium? Yeah those double lefts in S2 created a ton of havoc. I was surprised Ea Rouge didnt create a lot of problems. The red and yellow ones i used. Karl would of won if he didn't bin it at some point cos i weren't catching him at all.

Q - 7 R - 8 Qualy went ok, did a 1:47.5 and went fifth initially so was happy that I'd beat my practice time of 1:48.2, but ended up in 7th at the end. Doubt I would have beaten my time anyway. A lot of confusion for me at the start of the race as I thought we were starting on the second lap after forming on the first. I have to keep leaving the party chat just before I start qualy/race as being in the chat seems to lower the in-game volume and I don't hear the engine properly. So when I thought we were starting I braked for turn 1 and ploughed straight into Greg ahead of me, braking off the front wing completely. Sorry about that Greg. I decided to go on the mediums and see how long they would last. Pitted on lap 29 for another set of softs and got into a groove which ended by lap 39 when I crashed at the exit of the fast chicane in the middle sector, pouhon? if not then I don't know the name of it. All in all it was a pretty lonely race with the consolation of a good track, but I was happy to see the finish as the last couple I've done have been dnf's. I'm not sure when I'll sign up next as Monza is boring as hell and Singapore is just plain hell.

Q: 6 R: 6 Sorry for my cock up at the penultimate corner. Was adjusting my fuel and ERS and went straight off into the wall. Ripped front tyre off. 3rd attempt for start was doing good, but lost sight of Peter during the formation. Finally caught up and just waited to hear Go or green and took off. Heard Mitch wreck at eau rouge but by the time I got there it was cleaned up. Had good battle with Peter going but saw a Renault spun and just narrowly missed his car but hit some debris. Didn't note any damage but surprised the safety car didn't come out for it. Had good battle with stealth trading places a few times. I did 2 extra laps after Stealth pitted and came out maybe a second in front of him. He passed me the next lap using DRS on the long straight before turn 3. Few laps later he wentinto the barriers at eau rouge. Was glad his car didn't come back out on the track. Couldn't believe stealths car wasnt that damaged from the hit as it looked bad. Ran a bit more downforce and had good sector 2 times and at one point had the fastest sector for about 30 seconds before it was eclipsed. Then came big will and we had a few good laps but he had to have been running less wing as he passed me on the straight before turn 3 and slowly pulled away. Big gap to the car behind me so decided to put some softs on and finish the race. Was glad to finish this one.

Q 1 Had a bad first qualifying lap as damaged my wing on out lap but then returned to pits and then went out and did a good time for myself so happy. R got a great start 😂😂😂 Then had a gap for a few laps then Karl started to close then dropped of then closing then boothy was in the mix then I pitted had a 5 second penalty for blocking on lap 1 😝😂 then coming out of pits was so wound up spun on exit lost another 10 second sorting that out so lost first after pit stops dropping back now making to many mistakes now boothy had a gap after I made a bad mistake then Alex gets past also kept with him then again big spin had a gap to Karl before the spin and now Karl is on my back and sticking with me then I get a breath of fresh air as Karl makes a mistake and I have a gap have no chance of catching the boys in front so calculated what gap I needed to get back out in third so popped back into pits and put SS back on just got out in front of Karl and put in fastest lap. Very happy after a very stressful start to the evening. Well done to all that finished and well done Boothy Alex driver of the evening well done mate 😃

Q 12 R 2
I apologize for being the cause of so many connection issues last night. First my Xbox needed a system update and then the game needed an update as well. I'll do better in the future to check that earlier. I felt a self imposed grid drop was in order for my incompetence. Then don't know what happened as to why I lost connection to Xbox Live with about 3 mins left in quali. Reset my Xbox and it wouldn't let me join the game and once I did, it didn't let me back in my car, which is odd because I did set a slow quali time. Then the fun circus of rearranging the grid!
Took it nice and easy off the rolling start. My medium tyres took some time to warm up and I was struggling to pass cars off the start. Made up a couple places but began to stagnate. Around lap 10, many of the softs runners tyres were starting to fade and I found myself gaining some places again. After most of the cars made their stops I was in first place but yet to stop. After stopping I emerged behind Neale but now I had the tyre advantage. I got ahead of Neale on the Camel straight and then set about chasing down Boothy. I closed the gap down from about 8 seconds to 5 seconds and then I was stuck at a 5 second gap. Boothy was mega quick on the medium tyres and I could not catch up even on softs. At one point I brought the gap down to 4 seconds but then did a half spin through Pouhon. Happy with my performance during the race. Unhappy with my xbox and internet performance. I hope it does not continue to be an issue in the future.

Q 2 R 4 Quali was excellent, did my PB lap time 1:46.210 The race was a pain to get going but once we finally got underway i was having a good run. HAd some close racing with Boothy and Neale. Almost got past Neale but made a slight mistake and lost 15 seconds recovering. After that it was all trying to play catchup. Had another spin at Pouhon that cost me another 12 seconds or so and that was it. Had to settle for a spot just outside the podium. Boothy was on it. and Alec was epic. Neale and i were pretty much on the same race pace, but he was just that little bit better here. Will have to buckle down for Monza and try to regain some lost points.

Not the return to racing I had hoped A decent qualifying saw me take 5th spot, half a second shy of Boothy in 4th. My best from practice would have seen me close to the top 3 but I was happy enough to make 5th. Once we eventually got under way I was feeling pretty happy with the car, just avoided Mitch when he had his unfortunate Eau Rouge incident so moved up to 4th place and was keeping a steady 1 second gap to Railer behind as I settled into the opening soft compound stint but then on the third lap I must have just lost concentration for a split second, drifted a little wide around the very fast turn 16 and before I realised I was clipping the outside wall, tearing off my front left. Al;most collected Railer and I think Stealth coming around behind me. How on earth that did not bring out a Safety Car I do not know. It must have been a worst incident than the one that brought out the yellow on the formation lap of the first aborted race attempt. I thought after seeing that that maybe they had fixed the no-show SC feature but it appears not :/ Anyway, onwards and upwards, looking forward to Monza and a chance to cross the finish line for the first time in over two months having missed 4 of the last 6 races. Never had a season where i've not been available for so many races so I really need to finish as many as I can in this second half of the season. On the plus side although not having had much time with the new game so far I am pleased to see how much of an improvement it is yet again. They have made good progress with each of the last three releases. I was surprised to see that the custom grid facility was no longer there though. That is something that would have been so handy for last night and would have got us under way much quicker than we eventually did. I did leave my Mixer stream running and swapped between various peoples views of the race when I could. I just wish the game had a facility to automatically swap between drivers rather than having to manually cycle through them. Have a good week all. I didn't know that was available in Mixer. Same username? That will be interesting to see. Yeah, rough time qualifying here also. I think I was 4 seconds off my better times. 1:44s or low 45s usually, but qualified with a 1:48 or so. Pit wall, that entrance is a b*tch!! lol
