Like that Dave what with my 334.998 but tyres and fuel not doing so good 😖😁😜😂 but have to say thanks mate there is a lot to this game I was unaware of and had no idea about how all the pit stops work so thank you for you help yesterday 👍👍 More time can be made by pinching curbs as long as one tyre stays on track with the last 2 chicanes before start finish line.👍

I think the race is going to be won and lost with the tyres and stint length

Managed to get 2 good practice sessions in this weekend, 1st with Neale and Mickey yesterday (Saturday) and a couple of hours this afternoon. I too am running consistently in the low 3:42’s with a full tank of fuel but there’s more time left in the setup. From yesterday’s test with the boys it seems that the Porsche is quicker but has less range, tyre life may well be the key to this race, if my team mates in the Jag can run consistent stints and maybe double stint the tyres then hopefully we’ll be able to compete with the quicker 962. Neale, Mickey and I are running a test session on Tuesday evening about 7ish so let us know if anyone wants to join us. Cheers Dave Not had any chance to get in the car any more since the half dozen laps I did last week. It's been a struggle this past couple of weeks with F1, Indycar and Vintage F1 taking up the limited time i've had. I hope to get on at some point but unfortunately 7ish will be too early for me i'm afraid.

I didn't realize this was a Saturday afternoon. Hope I can make it, but it's a long shot. Will drive the Sauber if it is still available. Can't remember if I like the short or long tail. Fingers crossed Sean. It's tough to run it any later here as it will already be close to midnight by the time we finish.

The time is fine, I just assumed it would be Sunday the same time as our other races. I should be able to make it. How many people are using an H shifter? If not, is automatic clutch disabled or is it available? Just want to make sure I'm setting everything up right. I may use H shifter anyway, would be a good opportunity to brush up.

The non-F1 events have historically been run on Saturdays (IndyCar, Touring Cars, etc) as that's always been best for the availability of most pCars racers. I don't think we've ever run any on Sundays. However, depending on a potential classic F1 series that could change if it's the day more people want.

Managed to get in a qualifying test run here and got below the 3:40 mark with a 3:38.091. The track limits here are so strict that I managed only about 4 clean laps so that final one I took very carefully especially in the final twisty section so there's some time left on the track if I could really put one together but i'm satisfied to have a time on the board that I can use.
Did a quick couple of laps practice with a full tank under our race conditions and have to say that the car is much better like that, far more stable and predictable and I set almost the same time as my Time Trial lap. Hopefully I can get in a full stint practice to test tyre wear and fuel mileage over the next few days.
