I'll be racing providing Cleveland at Baltimore is in the books by that time. Looks like it will at the moment as the first half went quickly.

During safety car, pitted. Came out and spun after turn 3. Got going but throttle stuck open. Went into barriers, race over.

Typical, the second I start pushing the back end goes at T4 and hits every wall going 😂 Oh well, think I dozed off right before it as well 🙄 Tells you everything really.

Sorry guys, couldn't stick it out for another hour. Was enjoying the challenging conditions at one point but once those multiple drive thru's after the SC (no idea what for...) put me a long way down I lost a bit of interest and focus and that was that really. Have to have total concentration in those tricky conditions.still have no idea what the penalties were for 🤔😒.
Good luck to the remaining drivers. I may be done for the season now I think.. not sure I can get the motivation levels where I need them to be to commit to complete the races each time , new experience for me and if I can't do that there's little point continuing. I'm off to catch the late games now. Think that's part of the problem, i've got half an eye on those games so not concentrating 🤯
Cheers.
Got back on to see how the end of the race went and caught a good race between Boothy and Dale. Both took damage after Boothy got past and then Karl had one too just when he had the chance of snatching a podium.
Well done Neale on the win and great to see Mikey make the flag too. Well done 👍

Well done 👍 Yeah, being in the thick of NFL season kind of sucks, but luckily I'm primarily a college fan.lol I had a pretty clean race with a couple offs, but nothing too bad. Got lazy on the last lap and got my only penalty. Imagine my surprise to see had I not had that, I wouldnt have lost to Boothie by half a second. lol That's alright, he was faster than me the whole race. Niblips and I had a great lead in the first 1/3 of the race and safety car screwed that all up. lol Tough but fun race. You and I seem to be on at similar times if you ever want to run some laps. I have to learn all the rest of the tracks other than COTA.

Q:5 R:2
I was up at 5am travelling down teh length of the country whilst hungover from a weekend of wrestling probably was in no condition to be racing in anyway possible cos was fucking tired and was falling asleep cos Russia init. Was dogshite slow make a few mistakes at beginning had 5 stops only 2 were for wings mostly to get warm tyres dropped the whatever its called to 60% seemed to make a huge difference made it less twitchy in the corner on exit so was banging in 1.49's on 2/2 wings. Passed a ferrari at T1 - I tried to make the corner and stayed as far left as i could without taking the exit road. The 2nd ferrari was a more successful attempt by accident mainly cos i pulled out at the last second cos got a big ol draft despite running low ers let him back past then overtook him again by accident he braked that early i thought the fucker was brake testing me tbh
Dale fell to the same thing Mitch did by not just staying behind me due to penalties and ended up 0.5 off me instead.
See you in Japan will not be hungover/tired presumably

Qualy - 3rd Race DNF
Qualy - Put in a banker lap but on my 2nd & 3rd runs i made mistakes & could not improve.
Race - Kept 3rd at the start & the opening few laps were really tricky. Then i made a huge mistake locking up at the end of the back straight losing a few places. Then a few laps later i got tagged from behind & spun losing more places. Started to lose concentration after that & lost it around that long ass turn 3 , i over corrected the back end & ended up in the wall with my wheels off!
Well done neale on the win & mike getting second place, very tough conditions so congrats to everyone who finished actually!

Q - 11(?) R - 6
I actually had a pretty good start to the race and found myself running 5th after the first few laps chaos. The front runners were pulling away and I had a 10 second gap back to those who had spun or had contact. Then the safety car came. At some point shortly after we got going I had the back end step out in the kink between T15 and T16. I slid in slow motion at a 45 degree angle in the paint on the inside of the track and clipped the back corner of Will as he made the left at T16, my apologies man. From there it was a pit for a new wing and just keeping the car on track. Had to take 1 more front wing late in the race and finished one lap down, last of the runners.

Q 1 F 3 Pretty happy with my 1st pole. Could this be the first race where everyone had at least one Off track experience?lol Here is something I thought was common knowledge, but maybe it is not. If anyone has not set their Field of View, your depth perception etc will be off. FOV Calculator dinex86.github.io/FOV-Calculator/Sim Channel explaining FOV. PCars and Assetto also use FOV: When you are in the cockpit, your eyes should be seeing what you would see in a real car every day of your life. Generally, I sit 13 feet back and at an angle for necessity, but move everything together for the race. Not ideal, but it matters. For guys with wheels and pedals that actual sit decently close to their screens or monitors, check it out. You will be surprised with F1, PCars, and Assetto.

Q:5 R:2 Dale fell to the same thing Mitch did by not just staying behind me due to penalties and ended up 0.5 off me instead. See you in Japan will not be hungover/tired presumably Wait, we are allowed to race without a hangover? After a few laps I eventually let you by on the front straight and you went off on the next sweeping left. I laughed..and then I went off.lol Orange wing and Niblips gaining on me and then he went off. Had 3rd locked up after Niblips broke his wing and was just taking it easy on the last lap and then got a penalty. Stupid on my part, but I had no idea you had so many penalties. Pretty impressive that Neale finished 1st with Zero damage. Really tough race with dry qualifying and wet race.

It's always the same bollocks with you isn't it we get it you don't like people that use controllers. I literally stayed as left as i could without taking the run off i was on the orange kerbs to avoid ye. I didn't even realised we had touched until you started talking in the party. Yes i have an eyesight issue which causes issues with depth perception which means i can't even see the braking board signs anymore. Obviously i keep causing issues despite trying not to so at this point so it's best for everyone i step away from this with immediate effect. Good Luck for the rest of the season

Check out the FOV links I posted above. Not sure how far you sit from your screen, but the correct FOV will make a HUGE difference. You just need a tape measure and the calculator posted. The default Camera FOV in the game is not good. Not sure why you and Dinky have a magnetic attraction on the track. lol You're obviously very fast, controller or not. I've never had a single issue on track with either of you guys in Qualy or races. A race like yesterday is nerve wracking the entire way. Some overtaking spots are trickier than others

Good Luck for the rest of the season Matt don’t take it so personally, you can give it out but can’t take it back, I know I’m slower than most other guys on the track but it just seems to be you that I have collisions with, just unfortunate that it happens that way. You could be using your child’s toy to play the game with I don’t really give a hoot, that’s just my banter coming out. We don’t have VR in this game and the mirrors are non existent if you have correct FOV, it’s always been up to the trailing car to be the mindful one. Anyway I don’t wish to play ping pong on this issue... See you in Japan.
