It might be good if we determine who has XBOX One and who has XBOX 1X. I got a feeling that XBOX One users may experience the lobby issues, where the 1X users may not. I’m on the X mate so....

I just did a full Game delete and Save file deletion today. Got it all set up again and noticed that the G920 LSB and RSB that never worked before, are now working. So at the very least that's a good thing. And hopefully on SAT I can manage to get in the lobby and race normal.

I would suggest any of you other guys that have been having connection issues do the same as it seems the way to solve a multitude of problems with the game.

I have not reset anything so PC2 Patch 3 must have enabled them. Any ideas?

Nice to have two more buttons, never new they got fixed, but I'm not surprised.
Did some practice at LGBCH, wow, that's going to be tight! Driving there with AI is really stupid!

Long Beach is probably the toughest race on the schedule as it's so very tight and these cars are pretty fragile. I have found the AI to be ok providing you race them properly and don't take too many liberties. You can get a good run on them and make passes in the right places but have to be very positive and contact will more often than not cause damage which can take an age to fix here. I was in the pits for over 2 minutes the last time I had a practice. Also everyone should be aware of something I discovered a few times on the start/finish straight where the car will suddenly veer to the right and plant you in the wall just past the bend and about halfway across the track. I am not sure whether it's the bump in the road that causes it or just a little glitch as the times it has happened to me I did not feel the bump at the same time. Just be aware of it because there is no warning, the car will just spear off to the right and you'll have along drive back to the pits.

I can’t say I’ve had that issue but I’ve notice people in the opens taking the pit straight really wide so maybe there is a bump. The two worst places will be the waterfall and the last turn hairpin. Also pit in as it’s very narrow and the pit speed limit is pretty much straight behind the wall.

This has happened each time more from the middle line.. on either side it avoids it but somewhere around the middle line it has happened three or four times to me. There is pronounced bump somewhere just after that bend part of the track but it has not been apparent when those incidents have happened to me.

We all need to be aware that you can’t win a race in the first few laps but you can certainly can lose it. It’s a long race in a challenging circuit so it won’t necessarily be the fastest driver that wins but the most consistent, accurate driver will probably come out on top. I’m really looking forward to racing on this race track and competing with some quick drivers, I really hope our first event is memorable and enjoyable for everyone.

I noticed that bump in the straight also. Seems worst as you get closer to either wall. (But I don't get the bump in TT) And there's also that track surface elevation change at the last hairpin that can catch you too, especially if your car is riding too low.
Anyone have a suggestion about the AI settings that would emulate what we might see when we race. I tried ACE and very cautious, and it wasn't too bad.

Anyone have a suggestion about the AI settings that would emulate what we might see when we race. I tried ACE and very cautious, and it wasn't too bad. I had it happen again last night and took a clip of it on the Xbox which I will post here later. It's around about the middle of the track so the best way to avoid it is to drive slightly off centre there. There's a noticeable lift of the car and if you hit it wrong (or right) the car just launches to the right and you are a passenger until you hit the wall. As for the AI settings that is a tough one to call as I am sure there will be a range of speeds from us all. I have been testing against the AI at 90 with an aggression level of 50 but they are too slow at that level really. They only qualify with a low 1:11 at that level which means I grab pole pretty easily but it's just enough to give me a feel for racing against other cars as opposed to just testing alone. I have started a few races against them from the back to see how coming through a pack is. Tbf though I have yet to complete a race.. furthest I have managed is about 20 laps as my time has been quite limited. I am hoping to get one full race in before we hit the opening race lights tomorrow.
