Sorry I had to bail on our test session, it was a spur of the moment thing and I didn't take into account how much time I had left planned

Good luck tonight guys. Hope it's a good race. Disappointed to miss this and also missing Watkins too as I'll be in Italy so I'll be down two points chances on the season. I'll probably try to run this race on my own when I get back just to compare with you guys.

Good one Rich! I should've put more fuel in from the start (like I would've gotten past you again anyway lol).
That was a lot of fun for me and felt like a win. I only made a couple of mistakes but I never spun out or went off track. I did get a 10sec penalty for speeding in the pits (for literally a split second omg) but that was my fault. I'll put up my POV vid (mostly unedited) later. I was having a decent race in 2nd sticking right behind sgt f1. The two fast guys, Rich and Lemar, had initial issues but were catching. It was setting up to be a fun run. Then I accidentally hit the pit limit button instead of PTP coming onto the front straight. When I came off it and hit PTP the back wiggled and climbed the outside wall. After a slow lap and a long pit I was a lap down with not enough fuel to go to the end. At the end of the race, Rich finished right behind me so instead of doing a lap I just pulled over; I was in last anyway. When I crossed into the pit lane out area it immediately Dq'd me saying I drove in reverse for too long. Wasted what could have been a fun race. Sorry

I really enjoyed tonight’s race, some great battles and racing. I got a really good start and made it into turn 1 in the lead, pushed hard and built a really solid gap back to Hurt in P2. Made a mistake on lap 10 and ended up back in 3rd, managed to make it to the 1st pit stop and came out in P4, again pushing hard on the fresh tyres passed Rich as he was in the Pits, kept him behind whilst trying to hunt down Sarge, Rich got passed out braking me into turn 5, I stayed with him and was setting him up for a pass into the start/finish straight when I span up the tears and hit the wall sustaining some damage, limped round and pitted again and after some fast laps finished in P3. All in all a good race, I’d like to thank you all for your patience and sticking with us, hopefully we can get a few more people involved in the future. Well done everyone

Just putting the Unofficial Results and standings on the vid and then it should be up in a couple hours EDIT: You'd be in 4th with 37pts if you didn't retire because you would have gotten 10pts! Otherwise youre in 6th with 27pts. I really hope you didn't lol

Yeah that was a brown shorts moment. I did that a lot in private testing and it nearly always ended like LeMarrrrr in the wall. Anyways, firstly thanks for all the props last night and on here besides the moment above and one around the turn 1,2 and 3 complex (I did a Rahal and took too much curb) other than that I was mostly fuel saving all day. I don’t think it’s a two stop race but it’s a push and go one, tyre wear was zero of an issue especially once we got some rubber down from FP/Q. Other than the above issues my race played out pretty well. Once into FP I banged in a low 1:14 then a high 1:13 which I was shocked about as I’ve been doing nothing like that all week. I was even more shocked that I was over a second quicker than everyone else. Qualyfing was pretty much the same and with 10 mins to go I basically just kept going out to rubber the pit box up with the next two cars being around half a second behind I was confident I had pole which I did. with the race I blow the race start dropping the ball on light anticipation. once my issues had been and gone I set about catching the field back and at one point there was LeMarrrr, SgtF1,Hurt and me all within visual of each other it looked like it would be a epic battle and was greatly helping my fuel mileage then Hurt the wall and I was waiting for him to go airplane but it didn’t happen I got past him into turn 1 when he went deep (due to his damage I guess). At some point F1 and LeMarrrrr swapped place and I was pushing to catch them I had a hell of a battle with F1 who made that Snapple car very very wide. A bit latter I had a similar battle with LeMarrrrr and we swapped places a couple of times before he span on the final turn (it’s that concrete patch) after that I cruised to my pit stop careful of my MPG. At the stop I over shot the box and had to be pulled back this I think allwowed F1 to retake the lead before his stop. The rest of the race was pretty much watching the Sunoco and my last lap or 2 I pretty much sat behind Shneeb and Hurt. I had a great race and some good battles it’s a shame we didn’t have a bigger grid and with luck we will soon. Roll on the oval.

So did everyone 2 stop? I had a practice race and ran outta fuel with 1 minute to go.....I'm sure if I knew it was gonna be that close I could have saved enough fuel to make it to the end.....

It may have something to do with the volume of cars it’s probably as much to do with us all doing the reset etc as well. theres probably also a degree of Lady Luck.

I had a practice race and ran outta fuel with 1 minute to go.....I'm sure if I knew it was gonna be that close I could have saved enough fuel to make it to the end..... 2 stop seemed the way to go, not only from a tyre or fuel perspective but also a tactical view. I did some testing on a full tank and then a comparison 16 lap run which was 2 to 3 seconds a lap quicker
