The tires are the biggest factor for me in this car. The suspension is pretty balanced for me with Springs (31) and Ride Height (80) both balanced out for front and rear. ARB's are just slightly higher in front, (Fr 24 / RR 20 )and camber is just slightly higher in the rear. (FR -0.4 RR -0.5)
Toe was odd for sure with FR +0.3 and RR +1.5, but that got rid of the tendency to swerve all over the track.
I could probably use help with the gearing, but this is what I have so far: WG - FD 5.850 - 5th .878 Monaco - FD 6.500 - 5th .925 Spa - FD 5.292 - 5th .974 Nurb+Cmb FD 5.850 - 5th .974
I found that Nurb+Comb needed a stiffer Damper set up to take up all the bumps and rebounds.
Using the SRT PC2Tuner really takes a lot of the guess work out of the experimenting and saves a lot of time, = more fun!

I still need to investigate PC Tuner, just not had the time to devote to checking it out properly. I was a bit confused by done of what I read butane watched but I guess it's easier to understand if you have the tool in front of you to mess about with. Can you just clarify for me that the tool just gives you suspension settings doesn't it? It doesn't touch things like aero, tyre pressures, etc.
I'll give your setup a go when I get on maybe later or tomorrow.

Here's a review of the Main Features of the Program. Main FeaturesCheers Pete, I think you might have shared that with me before but I'll have a good read of it anyway and try to get my head around it. I just tried your suspension settings for the 25C at Monaco and they seem really good 👍 I've gone the opposite direction to you on the tyre pressures though and am currently running them at 1.17 across the board. I find they come up to temperature quicker by about half a lap and have an advantage in grip... such as there is with this tyre lol

Here's what I'm using. Tyres are definitely the main difficulty for me as well. I should have a circuit guide video up tmrw sometime:

How are you finding the tyre temps with your pressures Tyler.. I can't quite make out the numbers but think you are on around 14/15 on the front and 15 on the rear is that right? I didn't go quite that low but definitely found lower was preferable. The car really slides around and I am so pleased that we don't have to worry about the Nouvelle Chicane as that wouild have been really tricky to negotiate on these tyres lol

I'm definately going to try the tyres at 1.17 to see what kind of temp and response I get. Thanks for the tip!

Tyler seems to have gone even lower so definitely something to test out. I am always a bit reluctant to go too low as it tends to dampen out the turning response of the car but this car does need all the grip assistance it can get.
I haven't changed anything on the damper side of things from default. This area of setup I find quite confusing in all honesty. I'll probably need to adjust the radiator as well as this car seems particularly sensitive to the engine overheating. In my initial run last night I had the radiator closed off too much and although it was fine initially it went from damage at about 6 to over 60 really quickly!! So beware shutting that off too much.

I felt like the tyres needed a bit lower here or it tends to slide off slightly easier. I have the left pressure set slightly lower to even out the psi as it warms up to temp and the nature of the circuit Im quite a novice when it comes to tyre temp/pressure management so it remains to be seen how the tyres will fare over a full race stint. I have my radiator opened up to 95% (default it's closed up to a scary 30%!) Dampers I don't understand that well either. I do really like a lower fast bump and rebound, i'll explain it a little further in my video. Yep! Don't know how she did this, but the sim girl's ffb setups are perfect for thrustmaster!

Must take you a fair ol' while to put these together. Thanks a bunch! Yeah it can become a little time consuming especially when I start to get into it but that's probably my fault! I actually pulled an all-nighter🤪so I could get it out at least a day or two before the race. My guess is every minute or 2 of video takes about an hour to do depending on what's going on haha😁 Please let me know if it was helpful at all! Thanks mate, cheers!

Great video. I was laughing my ass off where you were saying "all you need to race is,........." Hilarious man! Thanks! I do hope I was easy to understand, I know my gf has to say "speak up, you talk too soft and quiet!" often haha. I do hope everyone learned something but it's pretty tough with you guys, you know just as much as well as more than I do.

Here's the setup I've been using so far.... suspension page settings from Pete via PC Tuner. Just an FYI, this car doesn't have viscous lock available. This means you basically have a clutch setup by default in case you forgot to play with it.

Yeah this sheet was created for pCars1 so isn't totally the same as pCars2 but there is a viscous lock setting in the game unless I just misread it when transferring the details to the sheet. I'll check it when I get on.

I'm on a controller unfortunately. Tried makings some official lap times which means I used the chicane. That came out to 1:51. I could go through, share my tune & explain the damping system, but I know this is cutting it close to race already.
Good news is, my tunes are often well balanced and can be used anywhere. Bad news is, you can't drive conservatively with controllers so I may make a few bad inpressions.
