you are correct sir! But he might have been caught out by my early braking. My pressure is down to 75 but might have to go lower after my experience last night. Mine is on 83.. what about brake bias, how have you got that set? I think I turned it down from 59 to 55. The problem is the brakes are getting cold and locking up (I think)

The problem is the brakes are getting cold and locking up (I think) Yes, well it's over 3 minutes between each real use of them as they don't get used much other than that first corner.... I think mine is at about 53 but would have to double check to be sure.

I haven't messed with the brakes at all yet. It's that stupid bus stop chicane where I have a tendency to slide into the barrier, haha it seems to give us all problems😖

I hope it did something. I haven't noticed anything different, however I've only been on a couple of times, and I really never had problems before except in our league lobbies.
It's frustrating, as you said, that I've taken over as the problem guy since Pete left. I used to get quietly mad that it was always Pete holding us up, now it's come back to bite me. I'm not here to hold anyone else back so if it is a problem for me again, please just move forward without me.

We've all been there at one time or another Greg. I think we should always try a few things before giving up on someone willing to race though. I don't mind spending 15-20 minutes trying to get everyone into the lobby because sometimes it works.

I agree, maybe if it helps you could try setting the lobby up Greg. We have yet to go through everyone as a host in a single night. While it's annoying, it's better to start late than never.
You're our current champion leader and we won't let you give it away that easy!

I am ready to host if Greg is unable to. Why don't you plan on hosting Rob. I don't get home from work until about 10 minutes before we race. If that fails we can try other options.

Disappointed with my performance last night. Had great pace, but lack of practice and preparation had me making too many errors that caused damage. Getting past Rob out of the banked curve I was passing him on the outside, but in my previous races i had not done so, I was always overtaking on the inside. I went wide onto the grass at high speed and couldn't recover before clobbering the wall and taking massive damage. Basically threw the win away right there. Congratz to tyler and Peter and Rob for making the podium.

- Tifosi Disappointed At Monza - Once again Ferrari fans are let down at their home race. Hurt MaGurt and Scudaria Ferrari came into the Monza race week with a 2 point championship lead and high hopes on for their home GP. After an unexpected 2nd place qualification and a great start MaGurt found himself in 1st place coming out of the bus stop on lap 1. RYDR moved up to 2nd and picked up a great draft down the back straight and the two went side by side around the 2nd banking.
Unable to pass after pulling out of the draft MaGurt and RYDR came to Ascari 1st and 2nd respectively, and this is where it all went wrong. In a post race interview MaGurt stated he was too focused on his mirrors and missed his turn in point to Ascari, causing him to hit the outside wall and RYDR to spin as well. MaGurt lost a rear wheel and somehow forgot to tell his team in the pits that he had any damage. He pulled into the pits and the team was not prepared to repair anything. They sent him around for another damaged crawling lap so they could gather parts from the hauler.
Upon his 2nd pit stop they repaired the car but after pulling out it became quickly evident that the crash had also caused a flat front tire that was not noticed yet. This caused a 3rd pit stop and resulted in Hurt being 5 laps down. At this point the team knew they had to finish to minimize the points swing to SGT Fourmula 1 who had a decent size lead and a steady pace in 1st place. Hurt MaGurt finds himself with a 5 point deficit with only 3 races remaining.

Solid and consistent pace last night but three spins at Parabolica (never spun three at all in my practices before our originally scheduled race...) costing around 45-50 seconds cost the chance of a victory. But a second successive 2nd place brings in some decent points. Had a solid start passing Karl when he had his moment on lap 1 and then just scraped by Greg or Rob as he they his their incident on the exit of Ascari.. I am sure there was the merest clip of my rear as I squeezed past on the inside.. another couple of tenths later and I would have been collected too. Took the lead from Tyler when he got sideways through Curve Grande on the next lap and had some nice clear air ahead and behind but then came the first Parabolica spin.. the car just sliding in towards the inside barrier as I went around the final part and just managed to keep it there as Tyler and Rob went past and then rejoined the track after Karl went through.
I had my gearing a little out of kilter.. increased 5th gear for the drafting and 4th gear to be my main one but left third where it was as I was comfortable with that through the Lesmo's and Parabolica and that left a bit of a dead spot when switching from 3rd to 4th so not ideal. But it kept my engine healthier than most. Back up to third when Karl had another problem and then second where I stayed for the rest of the race after passing Rob while he pitted for damage. Tyler's lead was 27 seconds on lap 5 after my second Parabolica problem but I had a consistent run from them until lap 13 by which time I had the gap down to 13 seconds only to have my third and final part spin dropping me to 29 seconds adrift. Tyler pitted at the end of lap 14 bringing me within 5-6 seconds but I took my stop a couple of laps later to see the gap grow to 26 seconds and crossed the line with Karl on my tail looking to make up his lost lap 25 seconds off Tyler.
It's a shame we all got so spread out after that opening lap as this track would have been much more fun with some drafting and passing included but the car is a challenge all of it's own so still was some fun to be had.
I have my recording on Mixer to upload later and also saved the in-game replay although may just do some brief highlights from that if I get the chance rather than upload the whole thing.

Another race successfully completed, i'm always happy when we start with no connection issues. I wasn't expecting a win here but it happened, once again I didn't worry too much about my pace, only the handling and let the pace come to me.
Rob was right on my tail for the first few laps after we all had our moments and I thought for sure he would get past me at some point. I think Rob spun on the Parabolica on lap 3 or 4 and that's when my lead increased quite a bit and the race turned into endurance driving.
Congratz to Peter and Rob for finishing on the podium with me. Rob needed that good finish for a while!
Rotten luck for everyone else, Greg's pace was quicker than mine though as he was catching me by the end. He might not have been able to do that at all if his car hit the wall any harder on Lap 1. Like Karl said very commendable.
