Sorry guys, you can go ahead and do this one without me. My daughter was giving her mother a hard time so I offered to watch our Son while they went and ran some errands so she didn't have to deal with both kids in town!

Completely understand the situation. Peter maintained an incident free session through for the win, Karl managed to come back from an early incident to place second, partly because Greg was having pit problems with refueling, which resulted in Greg taking third (for fear of running out of gas). I came in last, every time I closed on somebody I would lose it (felt like I lost downforce because the back would break free). We ended up restarting a couple of times (one for your disconnect, one because Karl took damage on the formation lap, one I got disconnected on the opening lap. Fourth time was the charm this go around. Peter has the replay. On a positive note for me, I had the fastest lap time (1:16.3xx).

Nice! Glad to hear everything went good after my unscheduled departure. Congrats on the win Pete 😀👍 and nice fast lap Rob!
Sorry again for leaving you all hanging last second. Verbal talk is definitely one of my weak points and at the heat of the moment I didn't know how to say to just go on without me 😑😓.
For future scheduled events that I know I won't be able to attend as a driver unlike tonight, I do still plan on attending as a spectator at least if I can.

Yeah it was a long ol’ evening for sure lol. No worries Tyler, real life has a habit of getting in the way and we guessed something had cropped up so no need to apologise.
Qualifying was fun although I was never able to match my offline lap times where I had a best of 1:16.083. The grip online seems less to me with the biggest difference being apparent through turn 3 where offline I was able to get into 5th gear really early but last night I had to hold 4th for longer and the final turn where I found the car sliding more and couldn't get back on the throttle as early. Still managed to hit a 1:16.784 which was good enough for pole just under two tenths ahead of Karl.
When we eventually got the race proper started I had a clean getaway and held the lead through the first turn and there was a good little battle for a few laps with Karl staying within a second and a half and all 4 of us within 5 seconds. Greg dropped back a little and then Karl and Rob had a bit of an incident around turn 4 (after the chicane) which saw both of them having to pit and I was left alone up front with Greg the nearest challenger about 12 seconds back. The gap went up to around 16 seconds over the next 15 or so laps with Karl and Rob both a lap down after their pit stops but lapping at a decent pace. It was a long race so I knew any error could bring them back into the hunt for the win so I resolved to ensure as much as I could to have a clean race and as such was lapping a second or so a lap slower than I was capable of for pretty much the whole race once I was alone up front. I was keeping the throttle only partly depressed through turn 3 which is where I had the majority of my spins in practice when I tried to push too hard and also braking earlier for turn 4 and 5. Keeping a close eye on the gap to Greg throughout knowing he was my only potential challenger it was opening gradually and was up to 18.8 seconds on lap 30 when he had a spin out of the final turn I think and the gap jumped to 25 seconds giving me even more breathing space.
My main concern at this point was the pit stop and the potential for problems there. I had been noting from the halfway point that my fuel was likely to run out a lap short of the finish even though I filled it for 48 laps!! so I adjusted the strategy to give me 4 laps of fuel just to be sure but when Greg pitted on lap 35 and mentioned his crew had failed to put fuel in and did the same again a few laps later it had me nervously anticipating my stop. So as I entered the pits at the end of lap 42 I was feeling pretty anxious at the prospect of my first win of this season being snatched away from me!!! I held my breath as I came to a stop and let out a sigh of relief as the fuel went in.. PHEW!! Back out on track and just a gentle cruise round for the final few laps to the flag.
A best lap of only 1:17.136 was the slowest of the pack but there was plenty of pace left in the tank and it was all about keeping it clean for the 45 laps for me last night rather than outright pace. I have lost too many chances of victory due to mistakes, game glitches (the mystery hay bale at Rouen anyone lol) and getting caught up in incidents this season so I was determined to not see this one slip away.
That stray advertising board around turn 2 was very weird.. why I was the only one to see it is a mystery and it was there for just the single lap but could so easily have been another Rouen for me :/ I’ll let you know here to look out for it in my replay when I get it up. I have both my live Mixer feed and the in-game replay so once I have them converted from Mixer to YouTube I will post them here.
Tough on Greg to have second place snatched away due to the fueling issue but the good side to that is that the Championship battle between Tyler and Greg will go down to the wire over the next two races.
Good job all, the numbers are low but always good to race with you guys regardless. I am promoting the series in as many places as I can over the coming weeks to see if we can get any new blood on the grid for the next season. It would be great to get up to around 8 if we can so if anyone has any suggestions fire them our way.

Good race last night, only one incident for me instead of zero (which is what i was hoping for). But that one incident cost me a minute and a half in the pits and when i rejoined i was almost 2 minutes behind Peter. I managed to keep the rest of the race clean and clawed back some time and positions, but i needed probably 100 more laps to catch Peter....lol.
