Well Gents, what a fabulous nights racing, 1stly tonight saw our biggest grid so congratulations and thanks for your support, 2ndly everyone deserves credit for the way you all took part in the event and lastly congratulations to our winners. Tonight’s racing was exactly what we’d hoped for when Rich and I put this series together, close, exciting races with all the thrills and spills of Touring Car racing. Hopefully we can have more like tonight for the rest of the series, in race 1 and 2 for 5 or 6 laps P4 back to P10 where nose to tail, defending and attacking and pushing hard, hope to see some of those laps in a replay.
So well done to everyone, see you in a month for our return to the UK for our next race meeting at Oulton Park.
Cheers
Dave

my Thrustmaster TX lost force feedback. I've been getting this fairly frequently. If I hit the home button (just opening the screen but not actually even going to Xbox home) I can randomly lose FF. Sometimes if I exit and close the game, then restart it'll kick in. The last time it happened I just pulled off and then unplugged the wheel and plugged in again. Anybody else getting this issue? Yes I get this too when hitting the Xbox button, sometimes. I found even switching lobbies a few times can cause it for me. If it's working during quali I won't mess with things until race start. It's not often but completely random and a real pain.

Can I suggest that although it probably doesn’t suit me as I’m further at the back
In race 2 can we have the pole sitter call out go as the slower cars from race 2 are at the front and quicker at the back.
It’s causing a huge pile up at the start where as if the front cars get away first it won’t happen

It’s causing a huge pile up at the start where as if the front cars get away first it won’t happen The main reason for having the driver at the rear of the grid call the green is that the pole sitter would have quite a big advantage if they were to jump the start where as anyone at the back of the grid wouldn’t gain quite as much. In my opinion we have to make the most of the tools at our disposal at this time, until I work out how to use the online championship option which will negate the need for the formation lap in race 2 and 3 this is what we have. 1st corner shunts are part and parcel of this type of racing and rubbin is racin 🤣 Of course we all want the best experience and things to be as perfect as possible but we are constrained by the software as to what we can and can’t do.

What is the issue with the online Championship Dave, does it not work or is it just not being sure of how its supposed to work?

Lol - that was a freakin blast. Looking forward to some more. Surviving the first lap from anywhere but last place sure is tricky though - I don't think I made it through the first turn at the start of the last race. The best part for me was catching up to Lemarrrrr's broken car, overtaking, then sliding thru the next corner into the wall in front of him. Holy shit I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't get started again. Nearly caught back up to him then.....one of these days I'll do some fast laps with the crowd instead of on my own..... Great great fun. Thanks for the initiation all. Off topic - at the start my Thrustmaster TX lost force feedback. I've been getting this fairly frequently. If I hit the home button (just opening the screen but not actually even going to Xbox home) I can randomly lose FF. Sometimes if I exit and close the game, then restart it'll kick in. That particular problem with the TX is something that I used to get constantly with pCars1 but thankfully has not been much of an issue with pCars2. Resetting the wheel the way you did is generally the best way to deal with it but of course far from ideal. Staying away from anything that makes the game lose the focus (ie using the Xbox home button) is the best advice I can give but I know it's not always possible.

What is the issue with the online Championship Dave, does it not work or is it just not being sure of how its supposed to work? The main issue Pete is that when I set it up for standing starts and save the Championship when I launch it we end up with rolling starts as a default, I’ve checked all the options and time after time it reverts back to rolling starts, I decided after the Donnington race not to run it anymore as it gave us a rolling start even after I checked before launch. Do you have any ideas as to why this keeps happening?

Here's the vid of Race 2, was kicked out of Race 1 and Race 3 would not save. Some really close racing last night guys, bit too close at times. The starts were chaotic with some of us not understanding which side of the grid to line up on. At least one of us could or would not communicate thru a mic....a mic should be mandatory.

I designate you Micko as our "go go go" guy. That Murray Walker impression last night was excellent 😂👍🍻

I know when I was having this problem I updated to the latest firmware (v53) and since then I don't think it has happened.

Cheers for tonight guys, enjoyed that. I absolutely love Brno and it's not often run in any series so had to try to get in for this one. Quite pleased with the performances after just one short practice. Nemesis69... you need to get a headset as you kept overtaking me on the formation lap and took my grid slot. You were meant to start behind me in 7th place. I was 6th in r1 12drivers so 6th r2

I had people in front completely shutting the door swerwing front left to right to block. With mic party was Bigger for me wouldnt let me join back in after it lost connection so i couldnt even hear when the shout for go was. I have a thrustmaster tx and ffb was all over the place car wouldnt steer was a massive fight to even get the postion i did

For what it’s worth I just lean forward and remove the power plug from the wheel base and then pop it back in after a few seconds. It’ll rerun the start up calibration and you’ll be back with it 👍🏻

Just to clear up 1 or 2 issues from this race and moving forwards, in race 2 and 3 the driver that is last on the grid will give the signal to go and so we’re clear it will be a countdown from 3 then three repetition of go “3,2,1,go,go,go” on the final go the race will start. Secondly on the subject of defending, you can defend by always taking the inside line for the next corner. You choose your line and have to stay there once you decided which line to take. The car behind has the responsibility to find a way to pass you in a safe way. Blocking is when you react to the actions of the car behind swerving continuously from one racing line to the other. If you witness any obvious swerving in an attempt to prevent an overtake then make a video clip of the incident and let myself, Rich and Pete aware and we’ll make a decision based on the evidence

I had a look through my replays from various people's perspective of the races (including yours) and saw nothing that I would call swerving or blocking. Sometimes in the heat of the moment we can tend to think something is over the top or unfair when in reality on reflection you can look back and see it very differently.

After some hard work, I am proud to present to you Rounds 1, 2, and 3 of the League in a bite size-ish package.
I probably went a little overboard again, but I think you guys will still enjoy this.
For those of you that don't know what i'm about, I like to take a look at everything and poke fun of it, that includes myself. I enjoy racing with everyone here and hope to continue on with it. 😀🏎🏎🏎🏎🏆
I hope you like🏁:
