No worries, shit happens. I'd have been more bothered if I needed that race to be champion lol

Fan-effing-tastic racing tonight everyone!! This is exactly why I signed up and have stuck with this group since last May.
The battles were the closest they've ever been, Greg and I battled wheel to wheel for 6 or 7 laps straight in race 3 and I had several other excellent fights along the way. That was completely unheard of in my sim racing experience until now. It can only keep getting better from here.😎
Sorry to opt out of Indy, burgers were offered at my GF's parents we couldn't resist! Congratulations on your new sim rigs Rich and Dave.
Congratulations Champion Scouttrooper Stu, Lord Vader has promoted you.☻

Firstly huge congratulations to Stu for winning our 1st TCR Championship, well done Stu, you’re a very worthy Champion, consistently quick and professional in your racing.
2ndly, when Rich and I started talking about running some league racing, we never thought that we’d attract such a high calibre of digital Motorsport Drivers and we are extremely proud to compete with you all during your precious free time.
This TCR series was only supposed to be a filler between the Indycar seasons but I’m glad that it’s grown into the competition it has become. From the front to the back of the grid has produced some of the finest online racing I’ve taken part in and I hope that we can continue to compete in this highly professional manner.
Lastly, as I mentioned earlier, our next event before the Indycar season will be The 24 Hours of Le Mans in the awesome Grp C cars of the 1980’s. More details in the following weeks.
Last race of the current championship is at Brands GP in 2 weeks with Tommy and Dan fighting it out for P2.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks guys. It's been a good championship. A couple of hiccups along the way, but it's to be expected with the lack of peripheral vision we have. Certainly in terms of laptimes, this was the closest race yet and was very hard work at the front. Roll on Brands for some hopefully more relaxing racing now... from my point of view at least I thought Brands was staying as this coming weekend? I must've misunderstood when I asked about the date changes. No problem either way. Cheers

Guys don't forget when you run anything Indycar also post it in the Indycar thread. I would have jumped in for that last night if I had known about it👍

Here's my onboard from Race 1. Most of it is Tom, Dan, and mine's battle for the last Podium spot. Nicely done Tommy, it was a fun challenge. There'll be more to come from Race 3 in the future:

What have you got mounted on your wheel? Looks like a phone maybe? Great setup!

What have you got mounted on your wheel? Looks like a phone maybe? Great setup! Yeah Tyler runs one of the dash apps that is available for your phone/tablet and uses the UDP stream from the game. There's lots them out there, some of us use rsDash which as well as the dash screens also has some telemetry screens and saves your session data and your laptimes, race results, etc. and uploads them to an online portal automatically. Very cool feature.

I've tried a number of times to get my phone attached to my wheel but so far haven't found anything that works securely. Last time I tried it when the wheel restarted and was doing its calibration routine it threw the phone clear across the room lol.
I currently have mine off to the right of my wheel on my deskbut will give the wheel attaching thing a try again before our race.

Try some clear packing tape and wrap it around the back of your phone, inbetween the paddle shifters and onto the upper part of your wheel. I also have 4 small pieces of velcro on the inside edges of my phone and wheel for extra support. My phone has also suffered from being flung across the room lmao.
