I’ve been high 47s to mid 48s but I’m quite stable at that time. I did add some ride height to counteract those bumps which worked well but slows me a bit I believe. I’ll run another analysis and take a look to see if I can tweak out that 1/2 second. I also changed diff to try and save that rear tire but I don’t know that it’s helping much. The tire does stabilize on the high 90 degree range.
Shows a potential in the 46s but I haven’t managed that.

That's good... TT or Private Testing \ Custom race mode? Definitely do most of your work in the private testing or custom race as TT gives you ideal conditions that are not always prevalent in the other sessions and it can sometimes come as a bit of a shock when you go out of TT and find things can be quite different on the track. Also, you need to get some practice in the draft as that escalates the engine wear by a lot and you need to be able to find a technique for avoiding that. Nothing in setup can prevent it.
We should all be somewhere about the same range. i'm low to mid 47's on full fuel without a draft at the moment. I have looked at trying to save the tyres a bit but in all honesty it's not really worth it as the right side tyres will need changing during the race and the time taken is very minimal to do so.
I definitely need to drag out the laptop again to try pcTuner and see what it makes of how my car is setup.

When I'm on a TT if I press 'Y' that filters results to friends and I just pick someone who's run the same class of car.
I've been doing all my setup in private testing and then I generally run a TT to find out if I'm in the right zone as others in that class, then finally a race or two to test out the track / setup in race conditions. Daytona gets pretty busy when there's a grid full of AI out there....lol......

Yeah I tried that but your name didn't come up and if you've set a faster time in another car of the same class that is the one that will show on the leaderboard. So basically any open wheeler at that track. One of the shortfalls of the pCars 2 TT mode. I added you as a friend so maybe it needs you to accept me as well before you appear on my list in the game.

Had a quick go with 40 laps of fuel in the car and was 47.360. I don't know if that's any good but ill have a proper crack at it later on That's up to speed Boothy. You should be good to go. Lovely, How are you guys doing with engine damage it seems to go up 1-2 a lap whatever i change the radiator & restricter too

If in a draft it's higher so you have to let the throttle breath and then you can manage it ok. I went wth the gearsghighest final ratio as well, that's at 4.

Morning guys, I hope I can still make it tonight but I am struggling badly this morning with this flu/cold/chill type virus I seem to have hanging around me. Getting steadily worse and deteriorates throughout the day. Keeping dosed up band will let you know tonight if I can;t make it.

I'm still in for tonight but might be a few minutes late depending on the weather and traffic this evening. We've had quite a storm the last two days and the roads are still tricky. Unfortunately where i work they never have 'snow days', so i've had to fight my way into the office the last couple days.

No worries, you should see how much we got here in central Wisconsin yesterday. It was something like 14 inches, on top of about 5 or 6 inches already!! The mail box is almost completely buried under snow.

Oh boy I'm aching and knackered lol. That was a looong race!! Well done everyone, great racing. Pretty surprised to come away with the win but even more so to have done so without any kind of real incident. I've found the magnetic walls to be tough to keep away from in most sessions i've had so just that one touch of the wall on the outside of turn 4 on the penultimate lap was a win in itself lol.
Right now I'm off to find where the pit crew are hiding after their failed attempts to sabotage my chances by not changing my right side tyres 🙄

Thanks again to everyone who participated tonight. We had a great first race because of the last minute sign-ups. Impressive driving and win Pete, well done.
Karl is back to his fast old self and BCK showed us how it's done with the fast lap.

OK not only did my Mixer not start but it seems my race data didn't work either!! My qualifying is there and rsDash was running fine all through the race until we finished but I have just checked and nada. I'll have a look again at home to see if maybe the app,is still running and therefore not yet sent my data through to the portal.
Just about recovered from that marathon. Hard to believe that it lasted only just over an hour.. it felt like on of the longest races I've ever had. I guess the constant left, left, left, left just get's to you lol. I was getting a bit muzzy headed at one point around the 60 lap mark.
Still confused over my pit crew's lack of tyre change... my strategy was set correctly and before I went in for my stop I did a quick check to make sure the right strategy was selected so very odd. Must admit I was surprised to find I was able to take the tyres the whole 76 laps. I had spoke to Karl about doing that earlier in the week but had decided that the risk of losing it out of T3/4 on wearing rubber was too great to make it a worthwhile gamble. I can only assume my lowering the right side pressures and taking it fairly easy through there for much of the early running, plus the caution period enabled my tyres to keep enough rubber to get me to the flag. I would say I had about 10% or less over those final laps after my stop. It got a bit squiggly (technical term) at times but overall not too bad and my lap times were still ok for the most part until I started coasting a bit over the final laps.
Four on the trot after the final three last season... think i'll retire now while the goings good.
