It's slippery as shit this year, don't know if its a set up issue or what but nothing I change helps it out, also front left temps spike to 👍 Maybe best if I don't make it then as it sounds like I wouldn't last very long without any prior practice. You'd be alright, just poodle around lol

Q:1 Surprised at pole to be honest, set up felt completely different to online practice and GPs but it was planted to the ground.
R:2 I don't know what time of day the race was set to but the street lights being on threw me off completely so failed to get into the rhythm at the start and locked up into rascasse and took a chunk of front wing off on Lap3 so decided to just pit and not risk anything. Unfortunately Karl is too consistent round here so had no chance of winning anyway so I'll settle for 2nd. Had several tiny mistakes that always ended up just clipping a chunk off the front right endplate, ended up going through every set of tyres I had 😆 Put on the hypers I started with back on for the last few laps to try and snag fastest lap back from Karl but ran out of laps and 0.3 off.
Well done to the guys that showed up and everyone that finished. That's the toughest race on the calendar. Hopefully Montreal has a good turn out 👍

Catch up next race meeting hopefully without interruption.. lol glass houses and all that 😂 Just kidding Mike.. life has to come first always and it's just one of those unfortunate things that Monaco is historically poorly attended because of the weekend it's held on. Overall the attendance this season hasn't been too bad apart from this one and Bahrain (7 on the grid). Hopefully once the new game is out next month we'll draw in a few more to improve the numbers.

And all the laps I did were in daylight....but after the race was over I did see it switch to dark for a little bit. How much of the race did you run I the dark?

You know what, there must have been a glitch. Remember how we never used to be able to connect Mitch? But this year it's working.... there must still be some issues. When I invited everyone to the lobby I hadn't set the race parameters yet. Most of you joined and then I had to load the race parameters after someone mentioned the race was set to 25%. I wonder if some of those detailes were glitched for you...? The default race time is set to random when you start a lobby. Maybe that stayed random for you after I loaded the race details...?

I think it was on sunrise for me cause S1 and S2 where dark but S3 was bright and over time S1 and S2 brightened up, but it must have been a good third of the race was "dark". I had that same flick at the end as well. It could very well have been down to the settings not being loaded before everyone joined. Would say it's something to test but new game is out soon so 🤷🏻♂️ What's the point lol

Q-4 R-DNF
Had probably my best start all season with no wheel spin. Fell in line behind Neale. I was pretty surprised with my initial pace and felt real comfortable following him around. Then around lap 8 or so I passed as he messed up the Nouvelle chicane. I was better off following and immediately started messing things up worrying about what was going on behind. Few laps later I ran deep at Rascasse and needed to pit for damage. I made the mistake of putting on the hardest tire and couldn't keep off the walls. Race ended on lap 12 in Rascasse again. Was real happy with the first 10 laps, shame it couldn't continue.

Did a lot of practice had a good setup so was looking forward to race . Q 3rd loaded setup went out for first stint and found car very loss unable to go full out nearly lost it in tunnel and put in a 117.something . Then went for a second lap and managed 114.something wrong here got back to pits to find I had a wing setting of 1 on front and 2 on the back 😖😖 now thinking this is going to be a waist of time not sure were this setting came from I am so sure I loaded my setting 😑 now feeling a bit pissed now and was close to pulling out but decided just to go for points. R 3rd had a blinding start was pumped up and got carried away for first corner and balled it up on braking do remember contact with someone but not sure who no damage to myself and the way both drivers were going no damage to them, let them back though and continue in third nursing car around track no point in fighting for position any more so just let drivers though who came from behind fast. Would say great evening but not for me no fun driving a car that is setup for a open track. Thanks to all that turned up and well done to all that finished. Hope for more people to attend next race.

Driver of the day goes to Neale for using the Monza setup in Monaco and making it to the finish. Nice job!
I didn't get much practice in for this one. Used a full aero setup with some adjustments and found it to be pretty consistent. Only did one qualifying run and started P2 with a 1:13.4. The start was ok. I stayed behind Mitch up to Sainte Devote and then saw Neale fly up the inside to make slight contact with Mitch. I came out of that unscathed and still in P2. Followed Mitch around for a few laps. He started pulling away a bit but then went too deep at Rascasse and i went through into P1. Pitted for Ultras on lap 12 and ran to lap 35 before i had my first wing damage incident. Pitted right away and put Ultras back on. Then on lap 54 i had another wing damaging incident and pitted for Hypers. Wing replacement #3 happened around lap 65 and i ran the Hypers to the end of the race finishing in P1.
It was a tough one. 78 laps around this circuit is demanding. Congratulations to all who took part and to those who made it to the end.

Sounds like it went well looking forward to see some video of it. Also remember Canada is a late start due to the silly time the race is on here

Well another cock-up by me! Only lasted about 6 Laps before putting it in the wall.....retired I stayed on for a while to watch and stream the masters perform. There's around 35 minutes of footage from the Race.
