24 Hours of LeMans - Saturday, 23rd November 2019 at 9:00pm UK (race accelerated by a factor of 10 so 2 hours 24 minutes race duration)
Group C Cars only (Jaguar, Nissan, Porsche, Sauber)
In game race date June 11th/12th 1988
Group C Cars only (Jaguar, Nissan, Porsche, Sauber) Qualiifying for this race will be separate from the race. You have to provide two qualifying times which will be averaged out to decide the final grid positions. The following briefs you on the qualifying requirements:- Please make sure to post your final qualifying times for each session by Wednesday, 20th November, no later than 11:59pm!! Any times received after this will be excluded. Qualifying 1: Go to the Time Trial mode of the game, run your session(s) and post the screenshot of your fastest time on the Leaderboard. You can run as many sessions as you want but only your final time will be used. Please only post a screenshot of your BEST lap. It's fine to post your progress at any point up to the close of qualifying but I don't want to be going through endless screenshots to find the best lap time. Please also ensure that you type your time in the message in the following format i.e Dave McKenzie/ Jaguar XJR / 3:41.67Qualifying 2: Night Time in Custom Race mode of the game. Set the date for either the 8th or 9th June (the week of the actual race back in 1988) and set the time of your qualifying run to be from 10pm for a two hour session lasting until midnight. Weather is to be set for two periods ' clear' and ' light cloud'. As with qualifying 1 just post a screenshot of your fastest laptime only but you can post your progress as much as you want in the lead up to qualifying closure. Please also ensure that you type your time in the message in the following format i.e Dave McKenzie/ Jaguar XJR / 3:41.67
When grabbing the screenshot of your time make sure to include enough of the screen to include the conditions at the top of the page.Race: Conditions for the race will be clear with some light cloud. We will run a formation lap at the start to get everyone into the grid slots and start the race at the beginning of the following lap. If there is any more information or details to relay before the race I will update this original post. Any queries then just ask. As with all our events please sign up using your name/username. Signed up as of 13th November 2019 - 11

Good initial interest with 8 of us. Although Boothy is questionable so maybe 7. There have now been 3 new signups although none have yet posted so i'll contact them to see where their interest lies in regard to racing with us.
We'll start to look at potential dates soon.

It’s looking quite promising at this point, hopefully we’ll attract some more in the near future. From a date point of view what’s everyone’s thoughts about a Sunday evening (UK time) in between an F1 weekend?

Unfortunately Sundays are not a good day for me any longer, hence why i'm struggling with the F1 races and my off F1 Sundays are already filled. But just go for it regardless and if things change and I can make it I'll do so 👍

Dale Rossi/Sean G
I'm in.
Edit: it looks like it is Modern LeMans track. Just wondering if it is multiclass LMP and GTE or single class.

Dale Rossi/Sean G I'm in. Is this modern multiclass LMP and GTE or is it vintage? If vintage, which class/years and is it vintage track or modern LeMans? For instance, Vintage LeMans would have Vintage Prototypes A, B, and Group C. Modern LeMans would have LMP 1, 2, and GTE. This is modern LeMans and multiclass really depends on uptake. We need a decent number on the grid to make that viable. If you know if any others that would be interested send them this way. Actually I would welcome a vintage race as well so maybe that's something we could look at as well. Good shout Dale 👍

I'm actually hoping it is modern, but whatever there is most interest in is fine with me. Unfortunately I don't have anyone else that plays PCars, only Assetto Corsa. Alright, I call the #63 C7R.lol. Actually wouldnt mind LMP either, give me a chance to use my 300mm wheel.ha
