I'm glad everyone had a decent time, it was much better than the last couple of weeks. It may have been more work than fun tonight but that's an over statement as it's always fun. 😁 I think we've got a lot of good data for the season from our session.
I'll probably be advertising for this at the Project Cars forum (if I can remember my account information) otherwise it looks to be pretty much be locked in with just us 4. I'm sure when Matt's around he'll join us and is always welcome but he's never actually signed up in the driver section, so I never know what's up lol

Yeah good session last night and happy to day I feel much more at home already with this car than the 49c. The AI at 100/25 seemed decent although still a big shunt in quali at LeMans and then in the race at Zolder but overall they seemed to be at a pace that we can race with and were not too aggressive in their overtakes. Just need to be very mindful of them in certain areas. If we can each get some decent practice races in at each track with them hopefully we can identify those places and be aware of where to be careful in the races.

I have a first draft ready for the '77 season. Let me know what you guys think, it was a little tough figuring this one out but I tried to pick circuits that are similar looking to the real ones they ran that year:
1. Willow Springs 2. Autodromo Internacional Do Algarve 3. Ruapuna Park 4. Long Beach 5. Brno 6. Monaco (modern turn 1, no Nouvelle, use all pool chicanes) 7. Zolder (Modern) 8. Oschersleben 9. Le-Mans (Modern) 10. Silverstone Classic 11. Hockenheimring (Same as '70 chicane) 12. RedBull Ring 13. Rouen-Les-Essarts 14. Monza 15. Watkins Glen (No innerloop) 16. Oulton Park (No hislops chicane) 17. Fuji (No dunlop chicane if possible)

I almost forgot about Mugello Circuit. That one would be fun. There's also Cadwell Park but it only allows for a maximum of 12 drivers.

That's already a long season to begin with. Doesn't scare me though...lol. If you want to add the other 2 maybe eliminate a couple we've done a bunch of times already, or circuits that don't have close racing or are boring, like Monza. Don't get rid of the Red Bull ring though, we had a mighty close race there this season.

We would definitely replace a circuit with Mugello and/or Cadwell if it were to happen so it remains a 17 race calander. Any tracks in the game that were used that season should also be used to keep it at close as possible to the real season. Mugello is a DLC track so i'd imagine numbers would be low(er) for that one but i've never driven it on Project Cars and have had fun racing there in the past. I think the last time I raced there was on Forza 3.

I raced it in Sean's Grid Choice Series and we used it for that series in AC a couple of years ago Karl when we raced in the Sauber C9.
It's a fun circuit.

Mugello is a personal favorite of mine, very fast and technical track. It's fairly smooth too so these gound effect cars we will be using next time around would be a blast there.

Mugello looks like a hit, now, should it replace Algarve or Ruapuna Park?
Monza stays because it was on the real F1 calendar that year. Luckily, I think it gets replaced for the '86 season with San Marino

Luckily, I think it gets replaced for the '86 season with San Marino Difficult I love Ruapuna so would always vote for that one to stay. Algarve has always caused problems for me for one reason or another but it's not a very often used track.

I was thinking the same Pete, Ruapuna has a more Vintage feel anyway but wasn't sure if everyone would have wanted to keep Algarve or not so I thought id ask.

Is everyone available Wednesday for another test? There's only the 4 of us signed up for the series so having AI on the track with us might be a good thing. I'll set it as a private lobby so we can keep the connection bumps to a minimum. Sorry to be late to the party but what series is this Tyler

We've just finished our 5th season running the Lotus 72 in season 1972. We're running through time using the vintage F1 cars in the game and move on next to the 1977 season in the Lotus 78.

Hey can anyone access the Project Cars 2 forums? I want to check the simgirl's thread for force feed back settings for the next car but I keep getting this error:
This site can’t be reachedforum.www.projectcarsgame.com’s server IP address could not be found. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
You gotta be kidding me if SMS is attempting to silence their customers/community. I'm suprised no one's boycotted PCars3/SMS yet. They'll probably be out of business shortly after the release of PCars 3 by the looks of it anyway with their fan base dwindling as fast as it is.

Sorry to be late to the party but what series is this Tyler Actually, you're now early to the party Dan. We're thinking of starting the next season late summer/early fall to give us a little break from competing. I still need to put it together anyway which i'm slowly doing

Alright, i'm getting closer to actually start being able to run laps. I've got the teams and pictures all ready to go (very tedious thing out of the way , I hope you all like cigarettes and alcohol because these cars are all about that), weather forecast for some of the tracks, and the season schedule pretty much ready to go. So, in the spirit of Project Cars 3, would you guys like to run another Mario Kart night in the next couple weeks? There were six of us and that's the maximum amount of drivers allowed for the rally tracks so it would be perfect. I would still like to run an endurance survival event at the Nordschleife without pits sometime so any ideas towards that would be much appreciated 😉
