I think it is an hour earlier actually. Our clocks go back so 8:30 would have been 7:30 previously. Right, so we usually race at 8:30 UK and 3:30 Eastern. Now for one week what was 8:30 is now 7:30, but we still race at 8:30. So it would be 4:30 Eastern? I think? Oh ok yeah I was forgetting you don't change this week do you.. that'll come next week. Karl will know lol

Yeah, UK time the race is set to start at 9pm. In North America it will be 5pm Eastern time.
Also, I think the majority of votes for weather has been to follow the actual weather during the F1 quali and race. Currently it looks there could be a chance of rain for both quali and the race....

What time do the quali and race start over there? I'm seeing clear quali and sunny with a slight chance of rain for the race.

Could be tough if they both finish the race.

We’ll probably see Ferrari off the pace this weekend after inquiries from the FIA and a few teams (namely us and Red Bull) about their engine performance increases this season, they’ll have been instructed to revert to a previous spec or face the consequences 😂😂 www.autosport.com/f1/news/146633/ferrari-engine-under-scrutiny-as-rivals-chase-fia

I hope it is next weekend personally. Winning it like he did in Mexico last year is a bit anti-climatic and he loves Austin so it would be more fitting if it was there. I'd like to see Bottas win this weekend but i'm not really expecting it. It would be great to see Hamilton racing with someone to give him the victory than just trundling around to finish. He's been far too good this season to see it just happen rather than him go out and grab it with both hands.

This is definitely a track where I expect the reds to be in the ascendancy but equally i'll be expecting them to do something to trip over themselves as well lol

Might go as far as Brazil, he’d love to win it there as well and the Brazilians love him too, as far as I’m concerned we can stop racing right now as the real championship has been won 😂😂

Has anything actually been proven yet? That article didn't really say anything other than question the FIA's post Whiting processes.

That article didn't really say anything other than question the FIA's post Whiting processes. that's what the article was alluding to, while Charlie was around things were not officially protested but sorted out in rule clarifications. Someone will likely clarify the rule soon enough, and if they don't then maybe a team will be forced to make an official protest. Though I would think that in order to have an official protest there would need to be some official proof as well.

That article didn't really say anything other than question the FIA's post Whiting processes. It’s similar to last year when they had the split ERS which wasn’t illegal but wasn’t considered to be in accordance with the sporting regulations, they were offered a compromise and as a result their performance was reduced and I imagine that the same thing will occur this weekend, politics effect most things in our sport and Ferrari do still have a huge influence on the governing body for now at least, so we’ll see what happens 🙂
