Is Nurburgring Nordschleife or GP?
Edit: I see it's weekends and not week days now

Fuji that year was tricky weather.... 2 red flags because of the fog and race stopped on the second one.... :-)

Hi All.
As my working calendar for this year is filling up, it appears that I will miss most of the remaining events for the WEC series... Starting from next one as I will be in Austin for the... WEC!
So as it cost nothing to ask and I really enjoy racing with the group, do you think it could be possble to change the dates one week later starting from the next one? So just Nurburgring to postpone 1 week and then keep the 2 weeks gap.
I know it will be a bigger gap to next event, I know that Peter and Dave have to aggree with that as well that all other racer, but I prefer to ask.... We never know.
Let me know
Cheers Chris

Jealous you're going! Do you live in the states or are you making a crazy long trip? I'm 5 or 6 hours drive from Austin and have a lot of buddies that make it down for Moto GP. I haven't been yet.
Go out of your way to hit Franklin BBQ!
Off the top of my head, if we bump them all a week, I will miss the race at Fuji (maybe my favorite track).
Would bumping Nurburgring a week and then getting back on schedule help? Definitely don't want to lose you, but obviously they'll have to make sure it works for everyone that's a season committed driver.

I will make the long trip from Paris to Austin via LA on the inbound and NY on the way back. My calendar when season restart is always difficult to match with sim racing. As it stand, i will miss all of it.... If we moved all one week, I will miss 2 last ones but will be able to round 4,5 and 6... I don't want to bother, and other racers have their plans, commitments as well.... As for you the problem could be Fuji, i will miss it anway so it could stay as planned....

We'll have to see if there's any flex in the schedule but the problem being that as much as I would love to accommodate the change to enable Chris to race it could then effect a bunch others so it's always a tough one. Trouble is not enough people check on here to see what's going one and answer anything we put out there that needs a response.
Keep checking back Chris ok.

True, bit I scheduled my trip in April on an off weekend so as not to miss any races. Will see how it works for everyone else, but I know Dave and Peter spent a lot of time putting together a schedule that would work for as many people as possible.

I think it's going to be tricky tbh. I've had a quick look at how pushing it back a week would change things and it would mean that Fuji would fall on Easter weekend here which is a big family thing so would likely impact at least some drivers and the Dubai race would fall on the early Bank Holiday weekend which is another one that could mean family stuff getting in the way. That's just two examples of the difficulties in moving things around.

I know that it s not easy... I was just asking in case something was possible. If not, no worries, I am use to it since I do sim racing and race with groups like this, it is always tricky for me once my work restart... If it is easy and possible, then I will be happy to do more races on this championship.... If not no worries at all. I will for sure keep a eye on scheduled races and race if there is room whenever I am home.... You can count on me when I am home !
Thanks a lot anyway Chris

I'm good for moving the schedule for Chris. You are one crazy fast and consistent driver, and like Sean said an asset to the group.
Ok so you are living in Paris, I hope I am correct when guessing that your nationality is that of France 🇨🇵 ? Your accent sounds Spaniard when you speak, reminds me of Alonso's voice but it shows you in the game that you're from the UK.
I want to make sure that everyone is representing their correct country for my highlight videos.

I lived 10 years in UK (where I work few month with dave) but never really tried hard enough on the accent. I am not sure why it shows the GB flag on the game.... maybe when I set it up...
About the schedule, it is to Peter and Dave to decide. I know they do their best to organize all this, perhaps if some races can be moved... but it has to suit everybody. For sure I will have more opportunities to race with the group.

Thankyou for clarifying, and no worries about your accent, I can understand you perfectly. It's really nice to see all the diversity here, UK, USA, Canada, Portugal, France, and a New Zealand flag popped up on the Silverstone results screen for some reason.
