Should be a great series. Thank you guys for putting this together. Announcement of optional teams is a great one and will be exciting.
Only suggestion is extending qualifying. It takes upwards minimum 4 to 5 laps to get even soft tires to their temps. 20 will be fine, but not ideal. These races, aside from Le Mans, aren't too terribly long and adding another 10 minutes would have more pros than cons IMHO.

Pretty cool to see quite a few teams so far. As everyone gets more comfortable with their setups and cars, it would be useful for signups to have as many as we can host some public lobbies after the holidays. Maybe set it to at least an hour total for the session to keep out the riff raff. lol
Le Mans idea... each team selects one member drive an LMP (1 or 2, doesn't matter as long as they all run that class).
I'm sure there is something there that can be done with points. Maybe the winners of each class (GTE and LMP) get X amount of points.

So how has everyone's progress been going for the opening round at Silverstone? From the chat group it seems that everyone is in the sub 2 minute range and it looks like things could be quite close. Although I am not racing at Silverstone I had a little practice last night just to see where I would have fit in the grid and got to a mid 1:59 so with a biut more track time would hope to have been somewhat competitive. I always enjoy Silverstone so it's disappointing to miss out but it gives me the chance to get a head start on Spa where I had a first run out yesterday.
The AI set at 100/60 were in the 2:18 range in practice and I was just shy of those so with a bit of setup tweaking and more importantly some decent track time I hope I can find that little bit extra to match them. It's always fun driving\racing there and I am sure it will be a cracking race if we can get everyone on the grid. It's a long time since we had a race there with a full grid so that would be great to see.

If you bump the aggression on the AI, they will drive less like bots and their speed increases. The pack separates a bit more, too.
Have had a few good open lobbies and one with a guy turning very fast Qualifying times, but he wrecked quickly.
Had a good one the other day with Dave and Neale and I got into a T1 cluster **** that escalated quickly. First wreck wasn't my fault. The second one quite possibly was.lol
For online lobbies, I'm setting the damage etc to what the series is set at rather than the usual full damage. It's still possible to get to 100% damage after a big one, but you do have the ability to limp to the pit.
My woman is heading to China for almost 2 weeks, so hoping to have more time to race. :-D

It's looking like we could have the strongest grid we've ever had. I'll sh!t my pants if we have a full grid on sat.

Hopefully it will be a clean lobby, the servers have been wonky for a little while. Neale and I and a full lobby experienced worm holes and all kinds of weird crap.

Currently 11 signed up... not sure what our strongest grid in pCars has been, I think about a dozen. Fifteen is the F1 best last season. Would be good to see all 16 spots filled but I think a dozen is a solid number these days.

Oh ok, I didn't remember there being that many on the grid for that one but good if it was Just checked and it was 13 so a good turnout for sure. I remember racing with full grids on pCars 1 back a few years ago but think 13 is probably the best we've had in pCars 2.

Another friend is interested in racing if we do more GT. WEC filled up really fast and unfortunately I doubt we have nearly enough for a 2nd series commitment.

He can still sign-up as a reserve as there will likely always be spaces available for each race. If he signs up he will be the second in line for a slot each race. I will send Sebas a message on XBL later to find out if he wants to take one of the open slots for Silverstone.

Nice job Micko 👍.
I managed to get my longest session of an hour in yesterday but concentrated on the first stage of the race with the heavier car. I hope to get another half hour in some time in the week to see where my low fuel pace sits in comparison to the times you've all been posting 🤔
