These are on Sale now with 6 days left as Jan 14 and they are $5 each. The Xbox store may have them as a bundle for cheaper. www.projectcarsgame.com/dlc/?lang=en-usIf anyone doesn't own any and only wants to purchase one of them, Spirit of Le Mans is as much of a "must own" as any DLC. www.projectcarsgame.com/project-cars-2-dlc-spirit-le-mans/Quite a few people have these already, but we don't want to exclude anyone that legitimately wants to take part. This wouldnt be until after the WEC season. Details are still being worked out, but I wanted to get a feel for whether DLC is viable for a full grid series at XRF.

EDIT: Just remembered I can check my account online and I had the season pass so yes I have all three. Now anseered in the poll too.

Drove the 1,000hp 1972 Porsche yesterday, the GrandAm car. What an absolute death trap. lol

As much as you love vintage cars, there are some monsters in these parks. Lots of fun Just never have time to drive them Sean. My practices have to be limited to the league's I race in due to lack of time availability. At most I'll get a couple of times on track a week which is not really enough for the league stuff let alone anything outside of that. It's probably the main reason I consider dropping league racinh because I know I'm missing out on a lot of fun with other aspects of the game(s).

I understand. WEC will be a lot of fun, though. At least do a race before you make that decision if you're serious. There is no shortage of reserves and maybe more coming, but definitely don't want you to miss out if at all possible.

Reserves pot that can race most races is more or less dry now we have slotted two into the vacant spots since Saturday.. I am running the WEC unless things go more screwy on the timings front but unless things change and I have the time to fully commit to anything else I will be scaling back on things going forward. I want to run Vintage F1 but have just not been able to spend any time at all on the new car for this season so i'll make a decision on that over the next few days. Out of all the series that's the one that needs the most practice but is also the one I enjoy the most although it is the pre-70's cars that I am most in love with. I also recently picked up Nascar Heat 3 which I really want to have a chance to get into (was a big fan of the Papyrus series of Nascar titles back in the day) and have another non-racing project that I need to find some time for over the next few months.

A fun project, I hope?
Reserves, I have 2 or 3 more that may be interested, but we will see.
Vintage F1, I really do think you guys could grow participation by running open lobbies and just set the licenses to however you want. Granted, I understand it is scheduled soon.

Yeah possibly, it's just a timing thing at the moment for both myself and Tyler. I don't think he has any more time than I do right now. The project.. yes, well fun for me anyway. NFL simulation league using a football franchise simulator. Something I have toyed with the idea of in the past but never got around to it, but with my interest in NFL having really taken off again this past few seasons I am looking to take the plunge at last.

That could be interesting. Time consuming, but fun. I think Madden has an extensive manager mode, but online leagues are strictly for players.

Yeah like you say Madden has a management mode but this sim I am looking at is more all encompassing including hiring and firing of coaches, ticket pricing, college draft, etc. The whole shebang. I have Madden 18 and it's fun to play now and then (although I haven't dug it out in probably over a year or more) but i'm not really the button mashing type of gamer that sort of game requires. More into the thinking style where playbook creation and calling the plays is the main focus.

Makes sense. I used to get all of the Maddens, but loved NCAA and that's been gone for several years. EA getting sole ownership of NFL for consoles hurt a lot. NFL 2K was a great series and they both got better and better. Since EA took over all of it, they just regurgitate the same thing over and over and it gets stale (and expensive) every year.
Ultimate Team is fun, but you still don't have the full management there.
Playcalling is what I like most and always wish there was a way to design your own plays other than Hot routes and player subs

So, an event like that or an entire multiclass season with vintage/historical tracks and cars? GT3 is a fall back plan for a season with a full grid since it has the most variety and balance. Just working out ways a 16 grid season could go

Just working out ways a 16 grid season could go Depending on how many want to do it I could see doing an entire Vintage season with the 1971 Porsche 917 LH vs. the 1970 Ferrari 512 S and 512 M. If we get 8 people we could make it multiclass and the AI could race the slower cars or something like that.

There is also the other prototype class around then with the Ford GT etc. The Vintage GT cars of that era is a really great class, too. I think we can get 16 for it and will do a poll soon. If enough aren't wanting to do that, the fall back is GT3 since it is the largest and most balanced for a 16 driver season. Vintage cars are tough to balance with 16 people, but I may have some ways to make that work with teams. My notes are kind of all over the place, but I'll organize them a bit more and send them to you guys and see what you think we can do.
