I was full on the binders to make the 1st chicane and not hit Peter and got hit from behind and ended up facing backwards. I had to wait for the field to pass to turn around. -Rage LVL 28% On the straight after the Mulsanne corner my xbox paused my game and I crashed badly. I had just purchased a Kinect adapter for the X and I think this caused the pausing. I miss being able to say "record that" while racing but that was the 2nd pause that randomly occurred so I spent the rest of the lap and my pit stop unplugging the kinect. -Rage LVL 56% It turns out I forgot to repair during that stop so I did one more broken lap then fixed things. Almost 2 laps down after 2 laps. - Rage LVL 88% Then this is how things ended...on my roof gameclips.io/Hurt%20MaGurt/2a918ba2-d35c-4bc9-8d2a-acc0dcad6ce9/embedSo both recent 2.4 hour events and the Bathurst 1000 I've been out on lap 1. Sweet.

I'm an idiot and won't let it happen again. I still feel shitty and can understand how frustrated you are, teammate damage is by far the worst :/ F#×@ing embarrassing

I was wondering what happened to you so fast.

Even with warm everything, so much can happen with that many cars bunched up. It definitely not like you to make a mistake like that, but it happens to everyone. Every single finished race without something bad happening requires good fortune. The way I look at this season is we are all still cutting out teeth. XRF could be pretty serious competitors as we continue to get faster and more consistent.

Q1 R1
Started off strong and after a couple laps, I knew something wasn't right and confirmed that when I saw I had 18 liters left in my tank. Almost shyt myself as I had OCD checked my pit strategies etc pre race. Doing a quick session with Will earlier, I under fueled the car and never put it back. So, had to pit since I was on empty after a few laps.
The next stint I was doing math to figure if I should fuel save for one more stop or just go balls out and hope for the best.
Made up time and pitted again. Got the lead a ways into that stint when Neale and Karl pitted and maybe Stu, but I still didnt have enough fuel to finish the race. Fortunately, the other leaders still had to pit, too.
Last stop, splash of fuel and chose not to take tires and hoped to keep my dwindling lead. My tires were getting bald with 5 laps left of the race, but just tried to hold my lead. Was able to pull off the win and was pretty thrilled with my luck and success in back to back Le Mans.
CPRacing ran a stock tune the whole way and still set the fastest lap.... again.lol That's just nuts!! I set mine early on, but he beat mine by about .700.
Hated hearing the BS Pafiero and Micko had to deal with from another driver. Through their own adversities they still finished strong.
Was super happy to see my teammate start from the pits and get 2nd. Not much practiced this week and still do that makes me happy Neale is on my team.lol
Stu came in late and got a podium from the pits, too. Really strong, as always.
Silverstone gave me a lot of problems passing people, but Le Mans wasn't as technical. Went 2 wide with Peter after Dunlop and had no contact, but felt bad to learn he spun. I know 3 wide there isn't safe, but 2 wide was maybe aggressive on my part. It wasn't intended to be aggressive and Peter was on the left line and I took the right. Hugged the right line and didnt think much about it as it was happening. So if I had a part causing that spin, I apologize, Peter. I honestly thought you were set on the left line.
We have some tough tracks coming up and it should be a blast. (Rain at Fuju, to boot!)
Peter and Dave put an absurd amount of time putting this stuff together and I hope everyone appreciates that. When we hear the crap that is happening live over chat to Pafiero (who is new to us but has been nothing but a clean racer) and Micko, then that is unacceptable. Every driver also puts in a ton of time prepping for these races, so that crap can't be allowed. As this group grows, we may have to do more to vet new racers for official races.

Another tale of woe for the 66 car, after a very disappointing qualifying I started from the back but got a great tow from all the cars in front in the Mulsanne and made up 4 places in the Forza chicane and was staying in touch with Micko in P3 for the opening laps until I ran out of talent in the Esses after Dunlop, after a lengthy repair in the pits I came out in P10 and ran on my own for most of that stint running some consistent but uncompetitive laptimes, had a few more unforced errors resulting in 2 more pit stops, began to close in on Will and after a few laps managed to get passed and pulled away over the next laps, tried to stay with the leaders after being lapped which worked for a while but couldn’t stay with Stu when he came passed into the Forza chicane. Overall I felt I should’ve done better but that’s motorsport 🤨 thanks again boys for your support and kind words, we appreciate all your time and effort in competing in our league, we couldn’t do any of this without your support so thank you.
Huge congratulations to Sean and Neale for their 1-2 and especially as Neale started from the pit lane and congratulations to Stu on your podium.
Really looking forward to racing at Nurburgring in 2 weeks.
Cheers
Dave

Happy to give my points to Greg from the event. It's only 6 but makes up for my stupidity No, Tyler, that not necessary. You caused the initial spin but the random pause caused my lap 1 damage and you had nothing to do with me being on my roof. It's all good man. Not like I've never hit you!

A disapointing race for me as I found my self with a stock set-up... hard tyres, way too much down force, wrong gearing, etc... I was loosing 15 km/h in the straights....
I have done 2 mistakes:
First, I did not check that I had the correct set-up (still don't understand this game, during the week when I was training, I was straight away on the correct one....) but I should have check.
Second mistake, when I realised this I carry on thinking "ok my race is finish...." but when I check the tyres I was on I saw it was hard ones... I was doing 4.06.00.... I pitted earlier than planned to go back on soft and then was able to do 3.55 / 56 and set the fastest lap of the race with 3.54.7 with this set-up.... the mistake was not to stop after lap 1 to change tyres, the first 10 laps costed me about 100 sec (10 secs per lap).
All around, I still have fun to race with the group. I really was hoping to have a close race will Sean.... It will be another time.
Cheers
Chris

Thank God you didn't pick up any damage from me, I gave myself 19 front wing damage from it. Over 24 hours later, I still feel like Spongebob from that episode with Bubblebass where he loses his mojo to make Crabby Patties. Maybe it's from the damn full moon. I didn't watch your video until now and I had no idea that that Owen guy also made contact with you. That's 3 people who had major problems with him in only his first event with us. He made it difficult for me to lap him the first time but the second time he let me thru nicely. A part of me can't help but feel like he is just woefully inexperienced, but at the same time, da fŪÇ#?

Everything was going good up until the pit stops saturday, thought i was doing ok in 8th then as i leave the pits my tyre pressures where 42psi & the car was impossible to drive. Ended up in the wall god knows how many times & had quite a few long pit stops because of it. I remember adding some psi for the night time pit stop (think it was 2 or 3 clicks to the right) but how my psi went from 26 to 42 i don't know. I got the video clip of micko39 incident. gamerdvr.com/gamer/bigwill369/video/86958539

Ref pit-stops my advice is double check the parameters and save again before the race starts.

Back of the grid in the pits P3 Well what a race. Literally no practice other than about 45 mins before the race and a very basic setup. Started well and slowly moved through the order. Passed Micko and had a slight off and kissed the armco (no tongues) which caused some front aero damage. Lived with that for about 8 laps as it was costing me, but not enough to pit and waste more time. After an hour I started to find a groove and got fairly consistent 56's, with a possible 55 if I got my shit together more. Was only 10 seconds behind Neale at the end, which I was happy with. Just wished I'd got more practice and setup as it might've been different if I was on the pace from the beginning. Anyway, congrats to Sean and Neale again and well done to Dave and Pete for organising as always

Turning the fastest lap with a stock setup is incredible. Really cool to see someone fight through a "fatal mistake" and still get points. Really impressive, Chris.

Maybe your pit stops were based on that initial setup? Make sure to test it before Nurburgring. Shouldnt need night pressures etc in any further races.

What can i see.... had a good race for the most part. Had some fun trying to stay in front of Neale and we swapped spots a couple times when we both made mistakes. My pace was ok and the car felt great, no issues with random handling issues until i said something about it late in the race....then i had a few incidents that put me down into 7th or 8th. Stopped to fix some damage and then leapfrogged a few guys while they were in the pits. wound up chasing down Micko for P4 with a few laps to go. Then Micko had a run in with Owen and took some damage. I passed him easily. Finished P4. lucky for me in the end but unlucky for Micko.
Edit - no video for me. I've turned all the special graphics stuff off and am not going to broadcast to try and keep the handling issues to a minimum. It seemed fine mostly on Saturday, but i had an online event on sunday in the Lotus 72D and i had a tonne of handling issues...so i'm not sure the graphics stuff and the broadcasting is really a factor. Might turn it all back on again.

Really good showing for you, too Karl.
FWIW based on the tune of your ghost at Spa. I couldn't even get that car up Eau Rouge. I was shocked you guys did as well as you did there qualifying and racing.
A lot of it could just be the setup. At least, I hope it is because that is at least fixable.
