Doing my practicing and since there is no 'Heavy Rain' option, im guessing it'll be set to 'Storm' instead? The next option is 'Thunderstorm' but the Forecast says Heavy Rain is the meanest weather for the day so that one is probably out.
Can anyone confirm this? Thanks. I can't wait for Saturday!👍

Yep Wednesday is fine Joeri. We open up slots to reserves after Thursday so if you aren't available we'll open your place up to anyone that is available. Will get my rig this Friday evening and have to built it on Saturday. I don’t know the exact status of reserve spots, but please allow them to have advantage over me in case of too few spots for the race. Watching the built from Sim racing garage, he said it will take about 5 hours to built the rig. Guess with my 2 left hands it will take some time more. If there are still open spots on Saturday, I will definitely jump in, but don’t want to occupy a spots for somebody else.

Congratulations on your new rig, what seat did you end up going with? 5 hours if you were to work on a sim rig nonstop start to finish sounds about right, though I wouldn't recommend doing that, especially before an endurance race! If you're like me, you probably won't be comfortable the first couple of times you sit down and want to make adjustments to your rig. Also depending on what your seat is, you may want to ask for a helping hand on holding the chair while screwing it together or vise versa like in my case. You don't want to strip any important bolts. It's looking like we'll have open slots regardless if you can make it or not, so I do hope to see you there, but definitely don't rush putting the rig together.

Have bought a Mirco GT seat, which is rebranded by my local race shop to LCD seats. He still had an old FIA licensed seat laying around which was a perfect fit for me with my height. Friend of mine is going to help with building, as he wants to buy an Sim-Lab rig as well. We start at 10:00 in the morning, so hopefully done around 16:00 - 17:00 local time. Still gives me enough time to get some practice in to join around 22:00 (local time), if the race is not full. Otherwise I have no issue in joining again when we visit COTA.

That is what I would say if it wasn't limited to 2 drivers per team, I can still treat you like our Teammate if you'd like. It's the newbie's job to hand wash the team cars before sat 😜
