Qualy 4th Race 6th Qualy - Really happy with a personal best of 140.8 & 4th place on the starting grid. I put a lot of practice recently to try & get to grips with this game as it's still all very new to me. Race - Had a great start & by lap 2 i was up to 2nd sitting just behind the leader. Then came my first of many spins! Ended up in the wall on lap 3 & dropped down several places. A few laps later the rain arrived causing more spins. I did manage to avoid the wall twice but Karl decided to finish me off...twice I had quite a fun little battle with Karl even though we were on different laps but my main fight was with iang0355 which went on for ages. This is the first race iv'e really enjoyed out of the few iv'e had & am really happy with 6th place after dropping down to 11th at one point. Neale really sorry to hear about your ill health. Hope you get better soon as it wouldn't be the same without you. My first gaming console was the atari & i had 2 games - Pong & Grand Prix racing. Another memorable racing game was TOCA Touring Cars on the PS1. It kinda reminds me of project cars.

That must've been when i did that driver swap thing by accident. You were in the black GT, yes? I felt so bad about that. I tried to call it out but I should've been a bit more direct to the people around me. Everything seemed smooth when I was driving connection-wise but it seemed stutter-y when the AI drove. And it was nutty, dude was all over the damned place and making a lot of really sudden and jerky moves. It cut a few people off but I think you got the worst of it and I'm really sorry for that Correct! Didn't know I was racing an AI/bot, otherwise I would have just put it alongside and squezzed it out of the track No problem at all for the, it all belongs to racing, specially the race of this weekend. Felt I had the pace to fight for a podium. Just need to get my act together the whole race, as I spun myself twice during wet conditions.

Q-10 R-3 I didn't bother with a quali setup...maybe that's why i was so low down the order? After i got through the wheel issue at the start it was really nice to not have to deal with the handling issues of the old xbox one. With the new X i was able to be consistent and focus on driving. Had a couple issues running into a spinning Will twice, which meant i needed an extra pit stop to fix damage. Barring that i may have been closer to Tyler and Sean at the end. Looking forward to the next race. Here's my video. My incidents with Will are at the 50min mark and 51:15. Not sure i could have avoided the first one. I should have been more cautious in the second one. mixer.com/niblips2

I think both times I lost the back end over corrected. Looking forward to the next one

Ok not sure were to start here. So as some are aware I have been in and out of hospital for internal examination and am still in a lot of discomfort and struggling to concentrate on racing. Last nights race at Watkins Glen I was taken out at the start of race on the first corner and I went over board with swearing and calling someone a C nt and more which isn’t me so I apologise deeply for this but I’m not myself sorry. I’m not sure what to do at the moment. To continue racing or to take a back seat until I have results or a conclusion to my health issue. I have been race with a lot of you guys for a few years now and have enjoyed every min of it but with health and my Xbox being a old one and not keeping with online gaming as myself and Karl are experiencing.I don’t want to upgrade with talks of a new one out soon. I have even looked into PC as a option also. But yet again I am not in a good space so not acting on anything at the moment. Sean Your the man at the moment and I feel I am letting you down but I am struggling mate to be in the zone. just something to talk about My first gaming console/ computer was a Commodore 64 I did have a ping pong thing that went into a black and white tv at the time,a moving dot you had to hit backwards and forwards until u missed it I think they called it tennis game but I don’t count that one lol. can u remember yours? I have always had something up to this date so will always be into gaming. Congrats and Well done to all that finished and the podium boys Neale I had no idea about your health issues and hope for the best Neale, it's always great racing with you, you're faster than me and you've got my support on whatever you decide to do. Hang in there and never stop fighting. My first game ever was that Indy 500 Simulation on DOS that Peter plays. I was still in diapers at the time, played it on the new family computer and had no idea what I was doing. The cars sounded like "mii mii mii mii mii mii mii mii mii mii mii mii" lol but I had so much fun with it. It kept me interested in cars for sure. My first actual console was the N64, then I got Gamecube, switched over to Xbox 360 (got my first wheel on that for Forza 3), Xbox One, and have a Nintendo switch for Smash Bros Ultimate and a few other games. As far as PC goes, I've messed around with the level creator for Gears of War on a junkie computer I had but that was about 12 years ago and haven't owned a PC since. I started off on the original PlayStation with Gran Tourismo, TOCA Touring Cars and early EA F1 then PS2 with GT3 which was awesome, changed to the Xbox in the early nougties with Project Gotham Racing and PGR2, upgraded to Xbox 360 and raced on the early Forza and Grid until I got my hands on the Xbox One and a Logitech G920 which I used up until last year when I got an X with TX Servo, 3TPA pedals and Ferrari F1 wheel

I had a mixed evening Qually was good finished 3rd. Lost a couple on places at the start then settled into the race having great battles with Tyler firstly in the dry then again in the wet. All was well til the second Pit stop when I must have double pressed the limiter button went over the limit and got disqualified (have changed the limiter button to the LSB button on my G920 and hope that stops me doing it again). Here's highlights of the first 24 laps enjoy
