Struggling with this one. Managed to get my only part practice race in tonight completing the first stint of 48 minutes but only managing to get times in the 1:44/45 range with several slower then that as I struggled to come to grips with this car. Soft tyres seemed a stretch to go half race distance but just about got them there although grip was not great for the last 15 minutes. I think everyone is struggling with these, especially the Panoz. So much power, but no ABS or TCS. Unless planning on 2 pits, I doubt soft tires are the way to go. Those are really good full fuel race laps.

Just didn't seem to have the grip so I need to look at the pressures maybe. I think the softs will be ok providing I keep it clean and adjust my brakes a bit better, too many lockups that will have an adverse effect on the tyre life.

I noticed tonight that this track seems to be really bad for lag when the pits are being used. At least that was the case with the AI tonight anyway. Probably the worst i've experienced and spoiled several laps as a result. Hope we don't experience similar tomorrow but definitely makes it even more important to let everyone know as you approach the pits.

It has been noticeable more the past few races, so I don't know if some tracks are worse than others or if we are just noticing it more. The AI definitely runs faster here, though. All of us had pace to beat 120/100 AI at Daytona in LMP. 100/100 qualifying here has AI setting close to world record times.lol

Looking forward to this tonight. The Panoz is a fun car to drive but a bit of a beast too so anything could and probably will happen lol.
Only another 24 days until ACC is released... Time to start the countdown 👍

Time to start the countdown 👍 Yeah man! This track and car combo definitely brings a challenge. LMP1 was a cakewalk in comparison, although an absolute blast, also. Pumped about ACC if society doesn't collapse first over here.lol Hope ACC has all the basic MP options we're spoiled with.
