You haven't noticed a problem with the mirrors if you race at night tine once it gets to a point where they are pretty useless as they just turn black and you can't see a damn thing. I've posted an image that shows this in the chat group as I can't be bothered to upload to an image site to able to post it here. At night you will only see headlights behind you. You're not seeing that? I honestly havent noticed any issue, but I use virtual mirror. Try that if you haven't It is the virtual mirror i'm referring to. Look back is much better but when racing hard its not always ideal to have to use the look back so I switched the vm back on thinking they had fixed it.

I just can't deal with the frustrations I get with this game at times. Had an hour or so with it tonight and best I could come up with was a meagre 1:26.019 and even that didn't register in my driver stats!! I could barely get a clean lap in tbh and this on a track that I love and am very comfortable with.
I just can't take speed into the corners which is essential here. The poor FoV, awful framerate and resultant poor sense of speed just doesn't allow me to judge corner entry so I constantly find myself either running wide or catching the sausage kerbs on the inside. I think I must be more effected by the framerate than most because I often end up with a fuzzy head when playing it.
I seriously considered deleting it tonight 😔 but it's hung in there for now.

I get it. It bugs the hell out of me for a bit, first. After I put in a few laps, I don't notice it. The biggest thing is the braking difference between PCars. In PCars, you can trail off the brakes much more quickly. In ACC you can't, so the cars feel heavier. It's more realistic with that, but takes some getting used to. Over steering will hurt, too. The best way to monitor that is to turn on the CC graphic. If you're steering too much, it will tell you "Too Much Steering." The goal is to use the brakes/weight to turn, and turn the wheel as absolutely little as possible. If Ratings were turned off in options, it won't record your stats. I turn them off when testing. What car are you using, one of the Astons?

Had an hour this afternoon and brought my time down to 1:24.9.... braking earlier and then accelerating sooner through the corners gained me the extra time here. I still find that I have to drop a gear lower than I feel I should do though. Turn 3 I'm mostly dropping to 2nd, turn 5 just after the overhead sign is also more often than not in 2nd and the next one mainly in 3rd whereas I feel I should be a gear higher for each of them but then struggle with understeer if I attempt that . Same for the left hander after the corkscrew which is the main corner I feel I can gain more time through.

The left after the corkscrews, it helps to quickly go to 4th and then back to 3rd so the engine brake will help through there. It would take one hell of a driver to hit a 21 in the Aston! I used the 991.2

Ok cool, sounds like i'm about right then it just felt like I should be a great higher at times. That turn after the corkscrew has cost me a better lap more times than I can remember lol. Looks so simple but it's a lap time killer for me.
There's no doubt that this game is one that you have to spend more time with to get in a groove. It's not one that you can just jump in for half an hour... At least not for me, I need at least an hour to find that rythm to enable me to make progress. I think that's where my problems have tended to come from, my limited time doesn't give me enough time to put in the necessary laps.

The braking is the biggest difference for me. You have to be so much smoother with all the inputs.
