Hey Guys, I checked but I can't find the starting time of the practice event...maybe just blind. Does it start same time as the race event - 21:00 GMT, be there at 20:45? We normally start the practice events a little earlier, around 8:30 UK time, make sure your online status is showing as online and I’ll send you an invite. Cheers Dave

Usual sketch this Saturday, 60 minutes free practice, short qualifying test session finishing with a 40 minute race. If you’re planning to take part just drop your name in this thread.
cheers

Probably won't make practice, running low on data so I need to conserve all I've got for the actual race

Gents,
I would urge you all to run this practice event for the Monaco rounds of this series. The circuit is like no other and requires a well balanced car and high concentration levels.
Normal setup for this session, 60 mins practice, 15 minutes qualifying and a 45 minute race, in which we’ll do a practice formation lap to rehearse our grid procedures.
Reply in this thread if you’d like to take part.
Cheers
Dave

I'm unlikely to be able to make all of it but will try to be there for the actual race so we can test out the VSC.

As Pete mentioned, we’ll be trialing the Virtual Safety Car procedures that we’ve been discussing in the Facebook Chat, as well as that we'll also trial the formation lap process so that we’re all aware of that before the race next week. To form the grid we will leave the dummy in the order it’s formed in single file, once we have got to the tunnel each car can take its correct place by overtaking on the right of the file which will keep to the left, pole will go 1st then 2nd, 3rd etc until the correct order is achieved, there is no need to take the Harbor Front Chicane on the formation lap, ideally I’d like the grid order formed before Tabac. Once on the grid Pole Position is on the right. The VSC procedure is as follows, during the hour test either myself, Pete or Dan will say VSC very clearly three times, upon hearing this prepare to slow your car and apply the Pit Lane Speed Limiter, there will be a count from 3 down to 1 then everyone should apply the PLSL, once we’re satisfied that the exercise had been carried out we will give the direction to prepare to resume racing with a countdown from 5 to 1 then green green green. Hope that’s clear and if there’s any questions please feel free to ask
Cheers
Dave

Following last night’s successful test of VSC and the grid formation we will implement these procedures into the rules for future races.
Cheers
