Feature Race Formation Lap Procedure
When the Green Lights go out each row will leave the dummy grid and will form into a single file at Safety Car Speed 75mph/120kph,
the starting grid will then form up from the front at a predetermined part of the circuit when and where it is safe to do so. The forming up location will be announced in the sign up thread for each race. Any car that causes another car to be damaged will be awarded a 30 second Stop/Go penalty which must be taken before the end of the 3rd lap of the race. Cars that have sustained damage on the formation lap will be allowed to pit for repair, the field will continue to circulate until the damaged cars have been repaired, as soon as the repaired cars have joined the field they will take their position in the column and the grid will form. The race will start with the normal standing start procedure.
The VSC procedure is as follows, if at anytime during the race there is an incident that cause heavy damage and obstruct the circuit either myself or Pete will say VSC very clearly three times, upon hearing this slow your car and apply the Pit Lane Speed Limiter, the PLSL will be applied immediately and there will be no overtaking, once we’re satisfied that the danger has been cleared and all damaged cars have recovered to the pits we will give the direction to prepare to resume racing with a countdown from 5 to 1 then green green green
