Safety Car Procedure.
A Safety Car will be called if 2 or more competitors are involved in an incident that has caused both (or all) cars damage that will effect their ability to continue in the race.
When the Safety Car is in effect the leader of the race will control the pace of the field to 120KMH or 75 MPH and the field will follow in single file.
When all damaged cars have rejoined the rear of the field they will not be allowed to unlap if the repairs they received caused them to be lapped by the field under Safety Car conditions.
When all drivers have returned to the field, cars will form into 2 files, odd numbers on the left and even numbers on the right 2 corners before the Start & Finish straight.
The leading driver can accelerate back to racing speed at anytime between the exit of the final corner leading to the Start/Finish straight and the Start Line but he must indicate to the field his intention to do so by saying “Green, Green,Green”
