The latest patch is now live so post anything about it here. 3.86GB apparently.
The patch notes are very basic so I hope there's more included that isn't mentioned. No fuel mix fix he been noted for instance so I hope that's included as promised.
I'm home tonight so will download it then but likely won't get a chance to test until tomorrow.

Project CARS 2 - PC Update 1.6.0.0
Various improvements, fixes and optimisations.
Fixed occasional stability issues. Improved usability of in-game tools. Improved AI ability at various tracks. Improved the penalty system. Optimised tyre wear in wet conditions. Optimisations to LiveTrack at various tracks. Improved track-limit zones. Other miscellaneous fixes.
As I mentioned previously, we will no longer be releasing fix-by-fix patch notes. I can't fully go into detail why, but just know that it's much more efficient for us internally this way, so this is how it will be going forward. We hope you guys enjoy the new update. Happy racing. Definitely grabbing that LeMans DLC. Think I'll pick up the season pass before I get it though. Maybe wait until the next Gold deal to see if it's discounted first This game is taking over for me this past month or so, I'm finding it difficult to take the disc out and play anything else now.

That’s the other thing with in a few weeks of the first game they announced the second but this time round nothing. It may be the learned from the stick they got last time but a bit of me feels like there may not be a Pcars 3.

I think there will be a pCars 3 but the lead time will be longer as this current game has the legs to run for quite some time.

I’ve had somewhat limited running with the new patch but early indications are that things have improved. Rich and I ran an hours practice earlier this week and we found the fuel maps and handling of the IndyCar improved, also the AI we raced with was consistent and predictable so all good. Hopefully things will improve enough to attract more people back to the multiplayer side of this game and help us get a few more regular drivers in our championship.

Rich and I ran an hours practice earlier this week and we found the fuel maps and handling of the IndyCar improved, also the AI we raced with was consistent and predictable so all good. Hopefully things will improve enough to attract more people back to the multiplayer side of this game and help us get a few more regular drivers in our championship. I hope we get more numbers as I really don’t like the idea of running with AI. I had ago with some on my own the other night and they are fine upto the race then they flip a switch and go bonkers. Over defending including the pit exit and slow in the corner

Getting that level and aggression right is key and on an oval especially where there is no margin of error they can be particularly difficult.
