Gents,
Just a word for our new members, firstly welcome, if this is your 1st league racing experience then here how we run our race nights.
So, can you try to where possible to race over a hard wired connection rather than wifi, we've found that a wired connection provides a more stable lobby, also can you set up your IPV settings to IPV4 rather than the IPV6 settings that are default setting on your router, we have found as our American friends still run IPV4 internet settings and we in the UK have IPV6 that if we all have the same internet settings that also provides a more stable lobby. To change this setting you'll need to do 2 things, firstly change the settings on your router which should be easily found on Google and secondly on the settings page on your Xbox.
During the Qualifying and Race we expect a minimum of communication between drivers as a momentary lapse of concentration can cause some race changing events which as you can imagine is very frustrating. Having said that, you will need to indicate to other drivers that you are entering or exiting the pit lane and as we race in 2d you'll need to indicate to the driver you're attempting to overtake which side of his car you are on to avoid any unnecessary collisions, we like to think that we are a fairly professional league and these details I've outlined will make the experience better for everyone. During practice sessions and in the lobby then please have a chat with us as we'd like to get to know you a bit better.
On the night of the event, Rich and I will set up the party which will be public so you can all join as and when you get online, so can you make sure that you have myself (Lemarrrrrr) and Rich (Reading Rich) on your Xbox friends list, once everyone is in the party we'll launch the lobby.
So, hopefully we'll have some great racing and a great championship and more importantly everyone will have an enjoyable evening of racing.
Cheers
Dave
