lol My bad, I thought this WAS the thread. Got a 3:23 in Q2 but been spending all my damn time tuning. A strut snapped and I wrecked the car. Either that or my wheel freaked out and I wrecked and then the spring snapped.lol So my question is...can you snap a strut on Mulsanne straight?? Secondly, where is the thread?lol If we are on tomorrow, holler. We were able to find Dave a couple seconds earlier just by cleaning up his line a little. That screenshot is from the LB. I had to beat it with an LMP so I couldnt have my very top secret tune stolen.lmaoEdit: Found the thread No that's from the in session timing screen. The TT leaderboard is where we should grab the times as it shows the car, etc. lol no worries, not tuning anyway just running default setup other than a click here or there on aero. Don't have the time to spend tuning with so many things going on.

Gents,
Please post your qualifying times in the tread below, just so we have all the information in one place
consoleracing.boards.net/thread/580/group-le-mans-qualifying
Don't forget that qualifying for this event closes tonight at 2230 UK time, if drivers don't post a quali time then we'll have to start those people from the Pit Lane.
Cheers
Dave

Yep. Suspension just broke again under braking at the first chicane at Mulsanne. WTF Right rear just snapped. Chatting to Karl last night and he had the same problem. Better make sure your race setup is a a little easier on the suspension lol The thing is this isn't an aggressive setup. I spent a hours tuning it and have tried everything with dampers, bump stops, suspension, ride height, and roll bars etc. Have never had this happen in any other car. It's frustrating. Yorke's indepth tuning videos show nothing and nobody seems to know what it means when telemetry goes red on "travel". He didn't even know..in a 30 minute suspension video.lol I dont know what to do, it's not like this is the crazy fast old LeMans, so the speeds should not be breaking the car.

Yep. Suspension just broke again under braking at the first chicane at Mulsanne. WTF Right rear just snapped. This happened to me last night in a practice session. It was right at the end of the straight. I had just started braking for the tight right at the end of the straight (Mulsanne corner?) and bang! Left rear suspension took 38 damage. Is this something that typically happens? Is there a way to negate this? I don't want to worry about busting the suspension in the race.

Dave I thought quali times had to be posted by 11:59? 10:30 makes it only 5:30pm here.

I spent 3 laps running times last night and 3 hours trying to fix this. Very frustrating. Yorke's PCars 2 Suspension video is 30 minutes long only to find out he doesn't know how to tune out the red on the telemetry for Travel. Never had this problem with any other cars or classes in this game, ever. It happened a few times running with Dave and Neale last night. I thought my wheel was broken. But suspension kept snapping and it isnt like the car is doing 250mph.

You're in the Sauber aren't you Sean? I'm in the Porsche. So it's happening on more than one car. I haven't even touched the setup though. I'm running the default stable setup in the Porsche. I don't want to have to worry about the suspension braking every lap. I'll just have to see if it happens to me again.

I worked on this setup for a long time and went back to basically a default setup and it happened again. It usually happens the 3rd lap or so.

I had this suspension issue in the Nissan as well, just noticed that the car was all of sudden pulling to one side and had minor suspension damage on the rear left, only using default stable setup. I did a whole stint though last yesterday staying of the kerbs when the car is under high load and didn't get any damage. I think the main one is the exit curb off Tertre Rouge (T6) with the yellow sausage kerbs if you run quite far wide there. Gonna do a couple of stints probably tomorrow and see if it still happens staying of the kerbs.

I've even tried making rebound less than bump, but same deal. So many threads and videos and none of them address how to get the Red out of "Travel." If I find a solution, I'll post. Engine wear etc is one thing, but it sucks if people have to worry about breaking the damn suspension. Really no point in taking a Sunday drive for nearly 3 hours.
