It's fine Dale. That time can stand so don't worry about it. Thanks, man. Hoping to be on here after a while if you want any help with your line. I have to fix my car first, though. lol. At a complete loss what to do. Well, Like Daz said, I'll try staying off the sausage kerbs. I can't remember what scenario caused my suspension failure, but if staying off the kerbs helps with the longevity of the suspension i'll do it. I do think my failure happened on the 3rd hot lap as well.... so i'll keep that in mind tonight when i try to post a quali time.

At a complete loss what to do. Don't think I'm going to get on any more, snowed under at the moment. I'll probably just post my practice times from the other day as my quali times. Good job I screenshot them.

Gents,
Please post your qualifying times in the tread below, just so we have all the information in one place
consoleracing.boards.net/thread/580/group-le-mans-qualifying
Don't forget that qualifying for this event closes tonight at 2230 UK time, if drivers don't post a quali time then we'll have to start those people from the Pit Lane.
Cheers
Dave I thought quali times had to be posted by 11:59? 10:30 makes it only 5:30pm here. The original post stated 23:30 (but im not sure anyone actually read it lol) not 22:30 but it's now been updated to 23:59. Main reason it was 23:30 was so that I could grab them and update the qualifying post with the grid before I shut down for the night. I'll do it at work tomorrow once I get a break.

So I'm having to get on before friggin work now and hopefully turn in an official time that the FIA is happy with.lol The original post stated 23:30 (but im not sure anyone actually read it 😒) not 22:30 but it's now been updated to 23:59. Ah, gotcha.
Niblips, any success? Made almost a full tank and bam, spring blew again. Suppose I could baby the car the whole way, but that blows.

Any chance this could be because you are running the non-LeMans version of the C9? I don't know anything about these type of cars but was wondering whether perhaps they had a specific version of some of these cars for a reason.

I don't know anything about these type of cars but was wondering whether perhaps they had a specific version of some of these cars for a reason. I actually thought about that and tried both versions with identical setups and nothing. The Saubers seem to be identical except for cosmetics. Very strange. Ran my ghost with the LM and they were exactly the same. Same cornering, same accel, braking, speed etc, and same tuning parameters. I also had it happen with the Jag and a Nissan when messing with those earlier. One of the Nissans hauls azz, surprised nobody took it. Hopefully we can run Old Lemans some time where these cars can stretch their legs.

Hopefully we can run Old Lemans some time where these cars can stretch their legs. I love the Vintage Le Mans. To be honest I like it better than the modern version as I have some fond memories with the Vintage F1 League when we raced there. I have yet to win a race at the circuit but always have fun driving it. I love the vintage advertising and buildings. You can almost taste the hot dogs.

Paulo reis /pafirero/ Jaguar Welcome to the forum 🙂 all the Silk Cut Jags are taken, if you still want to run a Jag then use the Castrol sponsored car. Cheers Dave

If you have Assetto Corsa, old Monza there is a wheel-breaking monster.lol BRUTAL track with banked turns, an absolute monster. There is one in PCars, but I think it is the road course only?

Ah, gotcha. Niblips, any success? Made almost a full tank and bam, spring blew again. Suppose I could baby the car the whole way, but that blows. In my running last night in the dark i made a conscious effort to stay off the sausage kerbs and didn't have any suspension failure. Those kerbs are only at three places on the lap, and they are all in the first sector. The first left hander has them on the inside of the apex kerb. Then there are some at the T6 right turn both at the apex on the right and on the exit on the left. That's it. Avoid those three spots and i think the suspension should be ok.

Interesting, I will check that out. Thank you. Really had to get funky with the tuning, but I got the "travel" telemetry to calm down a bit.

Same! If you have Assetto Corsa, old Monza there is a wheel-breaking monster.lol BRUTAL track with banked turns, an absolute monster. There is one in PCars, but I think it is the road course only? pCars also has the classic Monza with the oval which we've raced several times in our vintage F1 series in the Lotus 25 and 38. Love it. We did also race the Assetto version in our classic league over on Race Department last year. I think we did it in the Lotus 25 then too.
