Hope to be on within the hour. The more we can have in public lobbies and hosting our own settings, the more exposure we will get from people that are actively racing. It doesnt matter which game or car or track. If I'm on, I'm generally down if anyone wants to run a lobby.
If I can help anyone get faster, just ask. And for those faster than me, help me damnit.lol
All in all I think we have a good chance of getting full grids for some great multiclass series in WEC and anything else.

I'll be hopping on in an hour or so for some bathsalt practice. We might be doing another bathsalt practice on Wednesday in place of the Vintage F1 as Pete is unavailable.

Holler if you're on. We had a good session last night with a pretty full lobby. 20 min practice, 15 min quali, 10 lap race.
Had a decent lobby last week for a 20 lap race, but that's pretty long with practice and qualifying at the drop of a hat.

I ended up getting on pretty late last night at around 10:30pm my time which is like 4:30am UK time.
I've been doing 20min quali and 8-10 lap races online but so far everyone who has joined quits after a couple minutes and if they make it to the race they end up crashing out in the first lap or two and quit...

We had a good lobby session tonight but no one new, just Sean, Dave, Neale, Tommy and Me.
Times are looking good with Tommy managing a 2:03 in quali and Neale a 2:04. Think Sean might have got a similar time too but can't remember exactly. I made some big improvements tonight and am in the low 2:06's but with good scope to hit the 2:05's and maybe 2:04's.

People are running anywhere from 4 to 8 on wing.
We just did a private practice lobby tonight so people could practice the track a bit. I'll do another open lobby tomorrow when I can. Getting a little for all new signups and being gone last week kind of hindered that for me. But we should be able to pick up some more people in the next month or so. I've typically just used the chat in the lobby when I'm by myself and it's a little easier to meet people etc
Did have a couple other people, but they were a pair and one of them was a real dbag. So no invite lol

I think anything more than 5 for me slows my overall pace. It's a little better having higher downforce for the uphill section but the rest of the circuit suffers. You definitely will want to take good care of your tyres as higher downforce eats them up a bit faster too.

I might try a bit lower but in all honesty I am happy with where I am right now and am confident I can be consistent whereas with lower aero it's less comfortable and therefore more likely to lead to spins and issues for me.

That's not always the case as the lower downforce can lead to more sliding moments which chews up the tyres. I have yet to do any long runs though so I am not sure yet what the tyre wear is like but it doesn't seem bad from what I have seen so far.

I should have made note, but I'm positive I did at least 20+ laps and the tires were still "fine."
The biggest thing I've noticed in races is avoiding trouble on the first lap. Tires and brakes are still cold. Brake late/normal in Turn 2 and there isn't high probability of not getting through safely. Brake early, and there is a chance of getting hit from behind.
Even the AI doesnt get through that section cleanly often with 18 cars in the race.
