The crazy thing is that the paddles don't make the racing any easier, take our WEC for example lol. Driving with the third peddle and H shifter is so rewarding to me and one of the many reasons I love it and vintage cars. I've been seriously considering putting together some sort of vintage prototype, GT, transam, or vintage something series. I don't want it to coincide with the vintage F1 so it remains in the back of my head until further notice Sounds good Tyler, always interested in anything vintage. The vintage F1 has always been my favourite as that's where my real passion lies and would probably be what I would stick to if I had to stay with one series. The problem with starting anything new is when... not sure how many more F1 seasons we have.. I think it's 2 (the 78 and 98T) We do also have the 51 and 56 that we haven't done anything with yet of course as well. SO still plenty of scope to keep the vintage theme going for a while yet.

As far as Vintage F1 is concerned, there's 3 seasons if we were to count the 2011 cars. They're sort of vintage, maybe not enough to classify for this section of the forums. That would be up for debate. A custom Formula X Championship would also be fun but that would be a modern championship too.
It would always be fun to run some of the 60s F1 seasons again.

I would not classify anything this century as vintage tbh. Vintage for me is really 60's, 70's and maybe 80's. Even 90's is stretching it but that's just me lol I've never driven the Formula X in either pCars 1 or 2. I take it that's their version of a modern F1 car? I am not sure what the equivalent is in pCars 2 (it may be the same) but we ran a couple of brilliantly fun series in the Formula C series cars in pCars 1 and a Formula Tatuus series that Greg put together was also incredible fun... remember that Nurburgring race Greg.. still goes down as one of my most fun races. Nose to tail for lap after lap

The AC Tatuus was a great series, very evenly matched, especially Nurburgring.
The Formula X is a futuristic car. Sort of has some of the body styling of current Formula E cars. Modern F1 in Project cars is Formula A.
There are lesser formula series as well. FB and FC plus a Renault formula car.

I've got a couple different ones that maybe could be a one off or mini series so it doesnt conflict with Indy Car. Vintage Prototype and GT could be a blast with teams. Agreed on paddles. I use H shifter with more success on manual cars. Too bad we don't have enough people for an all H shifter/old school series. Doubtful, but that would be a nice addition to the next PCars...H shifter and clutch pedal lobbies.

Formula X is a futuristic concept car with automatic DRS and KERS etc. Stupid fast and somewhat similar to what other series have done with concept spec cars. Too bad they dont have the 80s F1 cars in this, they would be an absolute blast!

I enjoy open wheel, just prefer prototypes and GT because they have a lot more variety. Modern NASCAR also kind of bores me as does most spec series. GT1 is probably my favorite series in the game along with Group C, especially if they also had the Mazda 787 like Assetto has. Beast of a car and series of cars.
