Hi all, Just found this forum via Reddit/ProjectCars2 as I was looking for some racing on Project Cars2 with XboxOne. Got myself a Sim-Lab rig with CSW2.5 and Heusinkveld Sprint pedals last month and started playing PC2. After finishing the career I am looking for some more interesting racing. I prefer GT cars the most

Welcome aboard Joeri, Glad you found us. You are the second Reddit recruit recently. Hopefully you'll find something to keep you coming back here. If you like the GT cars then check out out WEC series running the GTE cars. We have decent sized grids and hopefully you'll be able to jump in one of the reserve spots. consoleracing.boards.net/board/119/wec-series

Same here with GT as well as prototypes, vintage and modern. As Peter said, WEC is a blast. We are at about the half way mark, but there is usually a reserve spot or two left and around 12 that are fully committed to the series of 16 allowed for a full grid. All the info you need is on the WEC boards.

Don’t know why but hard slicks seems to be driving on ice versus soft slicks for me. Don’t know if I will join Saturday. Have no clue yet about setups, tires for endurance and how my speed is 😅

Yeah, opt for soft slicks when at all possible. Hards have to be used sometimes, but softs are usually the way to go.
Used to spend a good part of my summers in Rotterdam as a kid and was in Amsterdam about this time last year. Hadn't been in many years, but my fiance works out there quite a bit too. Always a great trip!
Most people on here are in your general time zone and everyone is generally pretty helpful.
If you're not used to it, get used to racing with damage, using pit stop strategy, and cockpit/helmet view. It's all pretty standard but can seem overwhelming at first if someone isn't used to it.
The basic rule of thumb is you cant win the race on turn 1 or the first lap, but you can absolutely lose it.lol
