Q1 R2
After a crazy start, Neale and I found ourselves 10 to 15 seconds in the lead before we went into the pits. Just minding my tires and trying not to burn them up too much since I was having a hard time not cooking them.
Towards the end of S2, I found myself spacing out like an idiot and spun for the 2nd time, but got turned all the way around this time. Neale and Micko went flying by, but I thought for sure Micko still had to pit. Turns out he didnt, so I spent the last 25 minutes or so pushing hard.
Neale had lost speed from damage and I was able to pull within 4 seconds the final few laps of Micko. Last lap and I'm right behind him on the front straight.
Was thinking to myself I remember having to pass him at Silverstone and he really knows his race craft.lol Tried everything I could the last lap and just couldn't find a spot to pass him cleanly.
He stumbled the final chicane and I almost got him there, but he guarded the inside. Final turn, I got a run on him and maybe pulled out from the draft too early, but it wouldn't have mattered. Those Fords have some serious speed on the straights and put that together with a salty driver like Micko, you have to be Pefect.
*Incredible win, Micko!!* Many drivers buckle under pressure like that and you didn't flinch.
Thrilled to see my teammate Neale hold 3rd in a beat up Chevy. Well done, bruv.
The last lap should be on Xbox Live by now.

Q: P12 R: P4 I was pleased with my qualifying lap as it was the fastest lap i've done for the event, but it is still insane to see some of those lap times. I had a couple of slightly hairy moments when people were lagging around me, and I hope I didn't mess anyone up when I was near them. I was streaming the race from Twitch for the first time with the group too so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Over all I had a great time and many good battles with a few different drivers. Congratulations micko on the win, very well deserved. You're only as old as you feel so I bet you feel pretty damn good right now lol. Nice back to back finish again Greg, it's great to see us finish so consistently close. Congratulations all of our new members for great determination to finish the event despite some of the lag issues and other hiccups. Everyone needs to make sure that they restart their routers/modems before they start up their xbox, you want a clean connection/bandwidth for yourself and everyone in the lobby. Great effort G0t Tea, I saw that you had a couple spins but you didn't give up. That's the way to do it, keep it up and your races will improve

First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to drive along with you all. Really enjoyed the competitive driving, although the game is giving us all a lot of challenges besides driving. Qualification was good from my side with a lap of 1:55.187, could have got into a high 1:54 but didn't nailed the last chicane. Due to my own stupidity (not used of the manual pit limiter yet), got myself a 1 place grid penalty. Starting from P10! Race start went really well, had practiced some racestarts with AI so first corner braked early and took a wide line in case of a pile up. (didn't want to start my first corner with you guys like that). After some acclimatisation secured a nice 6th place after a couple of laps and really got a nice fight going with XRF Formula1 (could you share your Twitch with me, would like to see the race from your view ). I noticed some lag/high ping when running behind righsoa at the start of the race, let him drive off, meaning I could focus better on my driving. Running 20 laps or so, I noticed I really miscalculated my fuel (way too much). Took that for granted as I would have 20-25L left in my tank at race end. 10 minutes before the end of the race my GF came home, which really took my concentration off because she needed attention. Spun around at the Schumacher S and got me WONKAMAN DAN on my tail. Was able to keep him behind me until I misjudged the braking point at the Ford Kurve (flashing those light really helps Dan ), Dan passed me and I was going to call it a day. P7 on my first race without major accidents, I am happy with that. Right up until we came too Kumho and I completely missed out on my braking marker on the right side. Swerved left, locked my wheels and hit Dan on his left rear side. Again absolutely my fault and sorry for that. Communication helped a lot at that point and gave the place back. ps. Sorry for my English, not perfect on all sentences, but I guess you all don't speak Dutch

Great evening. Q 3rd Was very hard to put in a lap due to so much traffic and finding a space to go for it, also getting tyres up to temp was a issue 6 laps before I could push, but as my qualifying setup was my race setup just low fuel a was happy with the temp of tyres and hopefully would carry over to race but as we all know the game has issues.
R 3rd Had a great start can’t remember lot of it as it was very hectic but remember pushing and having a great side by side with Dave. Then closed the gap to my team mate and we just paced ourselves then Stu made a mistake.then Sean and myself as a team kept going to our pit I. Decided to fix engine but this cost me a lot of time which was very costly. Closed the gap a bit on Sean but then made a small mistake. Noticed Micko had pitted and made a lot of time on me as I just got passed as he exited the pits and he was under 3 seconds behind me now. Then I found myself in first ad Sean spun but totally missed it as I was keeping gap with Micko . All going well then I get a big jump in game with glitch and of I go into banking, big damage to engine, front left suspension and front end of car Micko through and then I’m back onto track and moving in front of Sean was unable to close gap and Sean was closing on me and decided to let Sean through thinking of team result now. Just had to pace and finish with damage for 3rd. Well done to all, well Done Micko and Sean great result for our team for a 2nd and 3rd. Have to say lots of lagging in game which I think caused a lot of issues for all. Thanks guys for a great night

Q5 ( I think? ) R11
Was satisfied with my qualifying pace but thought I could have started further towards the front as I’d gone a chunk quicker in practices that I’d run but after Joe had a penalty I started P5.
Thinking that I should try a different race strategy rather than the 1 stop that most people have used, I decided to run a 2 stop and the lower fuel load certainly made the car much more competitive in the early part of the race, my race engineer (DrBL4KOUT) came up with a great race setup and I felt I could compete. Managed to keep some good tyre and brake temps in the formation lap and got a good start, heading into T1 4/5 wide and managed to avoid Sean’s incident in T2 and found myself in P4 and chasing down the podium positions, a few laps later I caught up in an incident in T4 which I ended up in P9 or 10. I quickly got back in it and began making ground on the cars in front and caught Greg on the Start/Finish straight and out braked Greg in T1 but without touching each other we both spun out (Lag Spike?) I pitted a few laps later and had some good speed on the new tyres, setting Purple sector time in S2, keeping the leaders behind me and staying on the lead lap I stated to push and found some laptime, slowly gaining on Pete’s Aston. But yet again I ran out of talent with a lapse in concentration coming out of Dunlop, I pitted for my 2nd stop with about 35 mins to go putting extra fuel in to make it to the end and had a good battle with Will and an extended race with Stu who was a bit further up the road. Came home in P11 after a season splash and dash.
All in all an enjoyable but slightly frustrating race, should have been much further up the field with the speed in the car.
Lastly, massive congratulations to my Team Mate Micko for an incredible win, I had a front row seat for the last few laps behind you and Sean, well done to Sean and Neale for your podium finishes and well done to everyone who finished the race and lastly I hope all our new drivers enjoyed our race and will carry on racing with us
Cheers
Dave

Lag is a part of MP with full lobbies in every game, but yesterday was particularly tough. My woman came home and let the dogs in with about 30 minutes left. That never helps, but she stayed off the Netflix until I was done.lmao

I remember it took forever to get past you at Silverstone and listening to my engineer didn't help.."10 minutes to go, 5 minutes to go, 2 minutes, last lap.." Thinking to myself, "Just need 1 more hour." lol

That really sucks. Still, very strong to hold onto 3rd. Stu was flying and is always tough to close on. Where he went off was the same area I did and I imagine quite a few more had problems there. Was worried about getting a clean run all week for Qualifying. Even with 15 AI, it was really tough.

Q 7 R 5
Qualified with a PB just into 54s. Had a really good start and passed a couple cars on the first lap. After Dave had a spin I was running 4th and keeping a constant small gap to Micko behind. The 3 out front were pulling away little by little. Then on lap 12 I spun. Really no idea what happened, i was so consistent and then one turn i just completely spun under normal breaking conditions. The field was so tight that I lost 8 spots just getting back on track. Spent the rest of the 1st stint catching up on Dan.
After the pitstop I came out ahead of dan and just behind Joe(?) and I followed him around for many laps. After passing people in the pits we each had our own moments towards the end and we traded 5th a few times. Pretty happy overall. The team finished 4-5 so that's good. Huge congratulationsto Micko!
Great racing overall. It really sucks that having a full lobby is a double edge sword. I wonder if a different host for party and lobby might help. I get 17 upload and over 600 download speed and willing to host. Maybe others have better connections? Such a good game with such fatal flaws. Wish I could just win the lotto and I'd get everyone the hardware and software to run the damn league on iracing.

Here's the last Lap battle between Sean and me Thanks for the upload. Unfortunate your replay didn't save! I just assumed last night it was going to be on Twitch or Mixer. Wish I'd head over to watch it at the time now. Watching the video, I has a chance in the S2 esses, but couldnt hold my line. Rather than run you off to the right, I decided to fall back behind you. Maybe could have held the inside line better, but was already loose in the draft. Other than being dirty, not much else I could do. Possibly could have held your draft coming out of the last turn, but I don't think it would have mattered. That Ford was just way too quick on the straights. Neale and I followed Dave for quite a while and it was hauling ass on the straights

Hey Joeri, here is my Twitch stream from our race, it probably won't load here but if you open the Twitch app itself and search for 'ChallengeGamest' you should be able to find me. The race begins at the 40min mark. Your English is superb by the way
