I'm running 3/2 F/R. My fastest race fuel lap is a 8:18.447 so far. Sunday I do 28 laps here in a Porsche GT4 in iRacing as a warmup for Wednesday. I do basically 9 minutes flat in that car and that's with the short version of the GP circuit. Have I mentioned I love this track? That's a proper quick time Greg. I dipped into the 24s the other day, but I'm not sure i could do that every lap. I tried 3/2 aero and softened the tyres to add some grip, but i was 2-3 seconds slower than my best time. Maybe I need to try it with higher pressures. Still planning on running 6/6 unless i find something that works better with 3/2. The extra click on the front offers some nice oversteer which is great for some of the corners, but dangerous on some of the others.

Hmmm interesting one Tyler. I for one would drive any of the vintage F1 cars here for whatever distance but I suppose a true endurance event should be in a car proper to that your of racing. Not sure what other vintage cars there are but happy to look over them to see what I think we could use. Something I forgot to mention, everyone would need to map an ignition button AND an engine start button so when they take breaks they can pull off to the side of the track and shut their engine off. It might be more realistic if we drive road cars (are there any Vintage ones on the game?) as race cars can be a nightmare to get to start up in real life and can take quite awhile to do so as well. Especially F1

Any chance I could poke my head in on this one? Much like Peter, the ring is one of my favorites and I've never tried the old Lotus so this sounds like it could be interesting... Probably won't be as quick as you lot but I'd love to give it a go. If so, here's my entry. I signed up in the main post already so if anything I'd love to get in on the next one

Ok, I had a super fun practice race with 8 AI last night. The first race i have completed in practice without taking any damage. Fastest lap of 8:20.080. Never thought for a minute i'd be able to get that low. I'm running 4/3 aero. I tried 3/2 like Greg is using but i just couldn't find enough grip with it and kept losing the back end. Tonight should be fun.

Since there's only 6 of us tonight, eveyone who doesn't retire will earn points.

I'm gonna set this one out guys, I'm still not feeling great in reality or in that car. I'm gonna get some practice in over the next week or so for the next race though because I definitely like the car, I just need more time to figure it out

Had the car in neutral when the lights went out. Should have retired then.

The next track is the Red Bull Ring which has the least amount of turns in this season and should help practice go a little easier.

Had the car in neutral when the lights went out. Should have retired then. Ah I wondered what had happened but it would not have been a problem if the game had not lined me up nose to tail with you so I could not make any start at all without tail ending you. That was weird. You had such good pace though Greg and i'm sure would have had a great battle with Karl 👍

Damn, sorry Greg. We all thought that was your race. Don't feel down though, I didn't do good either, Karl was the only one that went incident free and we all were off the pace. You'll get a win before the end of the season so keep your head up Greg

This car is one of the best to drive and hopefully you'll be able to join us in Austria. If you need any help or advice just let us know.

Had the car in neutral when the lights went out. Should have retired then. I was feeling the pressure from you in the first lap Greg. Even though you had that poor start you caught up to me quickly. I was expecting you to pit at the end of the first lap to fix the slight damage i thought you had said you received, but then you didn't stop so i thought i misheard you and your car was fine.....but then it wasn't. After you dropped out i didn't push as hard and just kept it on the road. Fastest lap was slow compared to what you would have done. I propose we do this one again at the end of the season as a fun race. After the practice i was doing i really started to like the circuit, i used to hate it. I think i have all the corners sorted now, for the most part, and enjoy it a lot. Video: Race starts around the 10min mark mixer.com/niblips2?vod=284538563

Sorry I haven't had a chance to post a race report. Here's my stream from the action in both quali and race.
