Q: P9 R: P5
Ugh, I threw a podium finish away. That's not the first time I didn't put enough fuel in for my pitstop and it probably won't be the last. It's not a perfect race if I don't make at least one miscalculation, this time being a major one.
I really enjoyed this one and had some AAA battles with Nate & especially the sub zero Oxy Tyler. That was some amazing racing we had, it's like you predicted the racing line I was going to take and foiled every attempt I made to overtake without actually moving off the line to block me. I might have gotten you if I had put enough fuel in (and not accidentally shut off my engine, sorry again about that Christophe. I was kind of all over the track at that point). I race for the wheel to wheel battles and that definitely fulfilled my thirst for racing, i've only raced that close for that long with Peter (Hammer) and Greg (Hurt MaGurt) in the past.
Congratulations again to Neale for the win and to both Sean and Neale for the Championship victories, that was another great season. I can't wait for the next!

The pit "foul up" in "this ****ing game" was a bummer.lol I'm curious to see how the teams finished because that could hurt, although you did beat Micko and Dave! The LSR guys are relatively new to PCars, but they are salty racers for sure. Nate and I have also had some great battles towards the end of the season. The pit screwups happen and it always sucks when they do. Still, you ran a great race and especially considering pulling double duty in the VF1 cars.

Q1 R3
Penalties gave me a podium when in actuality Karl finished ahead of me in 3rd.
My race was going smoothly with 15 minutes left and a big lead. I had just pitted for tires and fuel and was just kind of cruising along when I spun. Just stupid. Took a bunch of suspension damage and went to the pit and still would have been fine. Then they start putting fuel in the car and I realized I didn't pick my Damage Only pit stop. So, they added another 42 litres on top of the 42 litres I literally just put in.lol Then they changed the tires. Then they fixed the damage.
By that time I was in 4th and pissed off and set my fastest race lap of a 53.6 or so and finished with 53s and 54s. Karl had enough penalties for me to take 3rd, so lucky me.lol
Really happy my teammate was able to get a win. It was cool seeing Oxy get a solid 2nd, even though he crossed the line first, he had penalties.
Great track and a really fun lobby. Looking forward to future races.
Thanks again Dave and Peter. This season started great and finished with a really solid 2 lobbies the past several races. I'm positive if we all gained a lot of speed and knowledge since the first Le Mans and Bathurst last year.
Was glad Neale and I got to team up while Mike is taking some time, I couldn't have asked for a better teammate. Always a blast.

Great racing last night guys, I'll post my race report up later but I know you are all eating with baited breath for the final constructors table so here is how it finished if I've got the lobby two result right:-
Drum roll 🥁🥁🥁
Sean/Neale - Corvette 349 Karl/Pete - Aston Martin 127 Micko/Dave - Ford 115 Tyler/Greg - Ferrari 99
Great battle over the second half of the season for second spot which looked well being Aston Martin at the halfway point but a string finish see is home. Another 100 recess and I reckon we could have pulled in the Corvette's too 😂🤣.
Well done all on a fabulous season. Really strong finish with the two lobbies, let's hope we can continue in this vain going forward with Indycar starting fully in two weeks, the pCars mini series coming up and Assetto Corsa Comptetizione on the horizon too.

Firstly, I really appreciated being able to participate in the final round So thanks for that.
Tier 2 // Q7 // R6
A quiet race for me really where I was a few seconds off the lead group pace but found a rhythm and eventually lowered my times to mid 1:56s.
Possibly need assistance with distance setups as I struggled with the tyres and low speed corners after 15 laps on both stints and spun out three times; subsequently knocked my confidence on the brakes and took some ‘interesting’ lines to say the least!
Must apologise to Liam as I attempted to rejoin the track at T14 (Lap 20) to avoid getting any corner cutting penalties and compound my mistake. I heard you but couldn’t see you with my FOV, sorry.
Totally messed up the pit entry speed as I mashed the rear view button and not the pit lane limiter which gained me a hefty 10 second penalty. At least I managed to fuel and tyre correctly this time out though.
Went on and picked up three separate track limit 1 second penalties, all of which were down to the scruffy handling experience at the end in the dark! Also a first for me racing in darkness online.
Great pressure from Ian on my bumper throughout and vice versa and then Dave reeling me in toward the end pressing to cut ahead of my time penalty.
Enjoyed the event thoroughly and will be back for more to improve.
In attempt to learn from my mistakes here are my highlights/errors. Last 30 minutes of the race wasn’t captured due to the Xbox PC2 limit.

Q2 R9
So a difficult race again... Qualy was ok, car felt good and was happy with P2 even so I lost more than 0,5 sec to myself on my best lap.... but it was impossible to come close to Sean anyway...
I had a average start for the race and cars were all over me at T1. Someone had a very little kiss on my rear rh, just enough for me to go wide at T1... back on track P5. Very quickly Tyler passed me as I was trying to get back on my pace but having the tendancy to be a bit too carefull on first lap. I finished lap 1 on P6... then my pace was slowly building up, keeping the gap with P5 arround 4, 5 sec... But after 10 laps my rear tyres temps were too high ( more than 100 degrees on lh), and the car started to slide a lot lot... soft were not the right choice to start with... I have decided to wait for my pit stop window to open, and around lap 17, I did pit for hard tyres and fuel to go to the end... but that was an other bad choice as the sun was going down, the track was cooler and I really struggled with hard tyres with 2 spins and very bad pace... After 3 laps I decided to pit again for soft, no fuel needed, bit this putted me 1 lap down... The cooler track helped a lot with the soft tyres as my pace was back... I had to deal with blue flags and try not to disturbe guys fighting for podium but I was able to follow their pace, finishing by setting up the second fastest lap of the race... So tyres temps and bad choices killed my race but I still had a lot of fun in a competitive, friendly and respectfull racing... Looking forward to next challenge.

Q3 R1 After the start of the lobbies, we've got the notification they where having a low number of people in the second lobby. As my game froze at the start of qualy (couldn't load any setup, just stuck there), I volunteered to switch to them. Qualy was really close between Will, Zay & me, just a couple of tenths apart. I had the pace to do a high 53, but messed it up at one of the corners in the second sector anyhow. Choose to test the car behavior on full tank and colder hard tyres, to get me setup for the start of the race. Happy with P3, because everytime I start on P1, I end up with a drive trough at green Start of the race was really clean and nice from all of us. After the first couple of corners the top4 (Will, Zay, Liam and me), got a nice gap of the rest of the pack going on the long middle straight. Will overshot his braking point on the tricky right hander and I could overtake him into second place. After that Will and Liam dropped a bit backwards from the battle between Zay and me, which would be an epic battle for the whole race. I had been driving for about 15minutes in the draft of Zay and was getting myself ready to try an overtake on the middle straight, as my exits of the banked left turn where better. End of the start/finish straight I was really on the bumper of him, where I missed my brake marker by about 5/10 meters. Lucky I could correct the car and overtook Zay on the first turn with a deep lunge on the right side. Wasn't my plan, but sometimes you have to take it 1hour and 10 minutes into the race, we where still within 1 second of each other, when my rear tyres had a drop in performance and I couldn't really get my exits correctly. Zay overtook me on turn10 and my job to get back into the rythm. Still within 1 or 2 seconds from Zay, I got back into my rythm but the last turn onto the start/finish straight got me and a little slide costed me about 5 seconds. 40 minutes left in the race and all was still on the table. We had a gap of about 40/45 seconds to Liam, so no pressure from behind. I got my head down and got the gap back to 3 seconds when Zay was going into the pits. During a test last week, I didn't change my tyres on the pitstop when my buddy Vincent did, who was about 1 second slower then me during the race. After the pitstop on the test, he was within 2 tenths, but changing tyres costs about 17 seconds in pit. Therefore I choose not to change my tyres and as Zay did, I got a 20 seconds lead with 27 minutes on the clock. Already 1hour and 13 minutes into the race without giving one inch to each other, this would be a great battle to the end. Could I maintain my laptimes and not make too many mistakes when the tyres lost heat in the darkness. For 20 minutes everything went well and I still had a nice gap and could easily take the win, when I had a spin on turn 7. 6 minutes left and I had Zay within 3 seconds of me, who was about 7tenths quicker over a lap. I could still get the win, but I couldn't make any error anymore. Laptimes where around 1:57.x but I still had a strong first sector. All my time lost was coming out of turn10 and turn12, where I couldn't open the throttle. Last lap, Zay closed the gap down to 1,5 second and I really needed to nail it on those turns. Turn10 went perfect for me, could Zay behind but with a minimal margin. Turn12, my exit was slow, so I needed to cover the inside with a defensive drive. I guess Zay didn't expect me to be that slow out of the corner and he spun around with 3 turns left on the race. Sorry about that, because the race shouldn't have ended like that. It was a real thriller and I ended up sweating like hell that I needed to take a shower afterwards. Our fastest laps where 1:55.566 for Zay & 1:55.555 for me. We really left nothing on the table, this was epic and the way a final race should be! Thank you all for the races and Dave & Peter for organizing them! Here is the video on twitch from my point of view.

Q4 R1 Q Wasn’t a great qualifying couldn’t get a setup to work so ended up using a old setup with soft tyres. R Had a fantastic start up to second for turn 1 All going good Sean gone into distances I was managing to keep a gap from behind then as the race went on started to get engine damage as I was to low on 6th gear and over Pushing engine then steering start to get bad vibrations and having trouble on first corner, gap behind started to get smaller now lap 24 so pitted for the the lot to be done came out lost 55sec back to 5/6 have to push now then every one in front started pitting now still 8 seconds down from 2nd. started to push then I hearTyler f ck up fuel needed to finish, Tyler,Tyler,Tyler😝 Kept on it and started to close on Oxy then it was just a matter of staying 2 seconds of him to get second. I Keep going wide and having to slow to not get a penalty. Then my team mate bins it and has to pit, what the f ck I keep pushing then with Oxy then I notice he is starting to go wide I’m with him now under a second just need to stay with him.don’t like winning like this 😜😝😝 BUT I WILL TAKE IT .😂😀. Another great evening 👌👌👌 Just want to say thank you to my teammate , Sean. THANKS SEAN Dave / Peter for putting all together Micko and Tyler for some great Videos of races.
And everyone for being a great bunch of racers.
Will be taking a break now on racing to sort my health out. I Will be back. Take care boys 🍺

Was a blast Neale and great to see you bookend the series with wins. Get yourself better and see you soon!
Tyler is one of the last people I'd expect to screw up fuel, but it does happen. The ICM where you can add fuel, if the number is Red, it means you do not have enough. Usually it gives me too much, but it's pretty handy.
Peter, that's smart. Teamwork like that definitely pays off. One has an off day, the other can pick it up. Makes for fun racing.

Q-6th R-4th
I didn't do a ton of practice in the week or so leading into the race because I was really struggling with handling on the hard tires no matter what I did, and it was making it hard for me to have fun and get good long runs in so I took a break for a week or so and focused on a couple other things here at home. Well my procrastinaton caught up with me and I didn't really get any good runs in until the day of the race. Ended up frustrated with the car again, so I decided to just put the softs on, crank the pressures up and open the brake ducts way up in an attempt to keep them as cool as possible... I managed to keep them just under 100 for the most part and it helped the balance a ton. Turn in was great but it just lacked bite midcorner, transitioned into oversteer and hurt my exits bigtime, and I'm sure the softs getting fairly warm didn't help. Reeeeeally need to work on my tuning in PC2...
I managed a 1:55.5 that morning but I couldn't pull it out of the car again in qualifying, think I finished with a high 56-low 57. Took my 6th place start and at the start of the race went really conservative into 1, gave as much room as i could and when Dave turned in in front of me I'm not sure if it stepped out on him or what happened but he spun in front of me and Bar. There wasn't contact, no damage so we carried on and then it was a matter of getting into a rhythm and watching the top 3 run away. They were super quick and had a good gap just a few laps in. Me, Liam and Bar traded places for the majority of the race, it was a lot of fun minus the constant oversteer on my part. If you need a good drift tune for the m6, give me a call...
Had a couple spins on my own, one of them managed to collect Liam unfortunately. He was on my tail so I was pushing hard to keep ahead of him and exiting the back straight I got a bit overzealous on throttle and ended up perpendicular to the track, and he t boned me. He got the worse end of it for sure, he had aero damage and I was basically unscathed. There wasn't really anything he could've done, that's my fault bigtime. The track cut lines are terrible on this track, a lot of the slow downs and penalties were terribly unfair to everyone.
Overall I'm happy with this one, I expected to be terrible but I'm definitely pleased with that one. And I'm ecstatic to have gotten the chance to race with everyone in this league, it's been a great time and I'm so excited for the indycar season to start up. Gonna be good fun, I can't wait!

Gents,
Firstly I’d like to thank everyone that has taken part in this championship, it’s been by far our most successful and competitive season and that is down to its high skill levels, professionalism and competitiveness that everyone has shown. So thank you for all your support and we look forward to more of the same in the coming races on our forum.
Secondly, I’d like to thank my fellow admins Pete and Sean for all their efforts in running this championship, we don’t always agree but I appreciate all you guys do for the league.
Thirdly, congratulations to our double championship winners Sean and Neale, you have both been the class of our series and your both very worthy winners.
After some good testing in the week I qualified in P5 with a personal best time and I was hopeful of a decent result to end the season. I opted to run a long 1st stint on the hard tyre and capitalise on the soft tyre degradation, managed to keep some good temps in the tyres and brakes on the formation lap and when the lights went out I felt the car had some good grip but I felt the car over rotate on the apex of T1 and ended up facing the barrier but thankfully no damage. I stopped swearing and set about trying to close the 20 second gap to the pack and it was after 4 or 5 laps I found that the hard tyre didn’t have the pace of the soft by 2 seconds a lap. I caught up with Liam and Jesse who had spun and tried to make my strategy work with some quicker laps. I ran consistently in the 58’s but that wasn’t anywhere near the pace in needed and I fell away from the pack. I passed 2 or 3 in the pits and had a great race with Will for a number of laps before I boxed for fuel and soft tyres with 20 minutes left of the race by by then the damage was done and the gap too much to close with the time slipping away and came home in P7.
An enjoyable and challenging race but not the result we wanted.
Big congratulations to Joe for the win and to Zac and Will for their podium finish and well done to Pete and Karl for pipping Micko and I in the Teams Championship.
Really looking forward to our Indycar Championship and hope that it is as good as this season has been.
Cheers
Dave

Q-8? R-4
I didn't really get too much practice here and I'm not familiar with the circuit either. Had a PB in quali but others were way ahead of that. Got pipped by my team mate late in the session by 0.010.
The race was pretty good. Had some racing with Micko at the start when he seemed like he was struggling a bit and some nice racing with Peter. But after he let me by i don't think i saw too many others. Tired to catch up to Tyler but he kept edging away a few tenths of a lap here and there. Got dogged a lot but the track limit penalties. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to when they would deliver a penalty. Then on my pit stop i was so worried about avoiding the barrier i got caught speeding and took 10 seconds more in penalties. By the end i think i had 15 seconds added to my time and even though i crossed the line 3rd i was demoted to P4, just behind a speedy Sean.
Sean, you have these cars locked down. Congratulations to you and Neale on an excellent performance this series.

Thanks Dave and Karl.
Karl, it took me until the last race to figure out that the Aston really benefits from soft Rebound across the board. I'm not really sure why, but that seemed to be the key to that car.
