This is an every other Saturday Endurance series leading up to, and possibly past, the release if Assetto Corsa Competizione (June 23). It's design allows it to run indefinitely, as long as people want to run it.
These are all 24 Hour modified into 95 minutes at 15X, with a 30 Minute Qualifying.
Points will be kept traditionally. Once a person hits 100 points, they have the opportunity to completely set the following race track, car(s), and weather.
From race to race 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finishers will select the one of the following three options:
Next Circuit
Next Car/Car Class
Weather slots and Race In Game Start Time
Send those to me in a Private message and I will post what they are once they're all in. It should create some incredible scenarios. If something comes along that everyone is in agreement that is a disaster, then the Grid can select new options.
To ensure the same people do not pick over and over, if in the following race the same 3 win, then 3, 4, and 5 will be the next decision makers (3 stays in the mix since it is likely they won't have one bigger choices to make).
If a car class is chosen that has a limited number of liveries for the top cars, then the order in which cars are chosen will be done in reverse (from Last to First of the previous race). This ensures the races stay balanced as well as possible.
There were a lot of nominations for the first cars chosen for the first race and the one class that consistently came up is LMP1/LMP2016. We've yet to do an endurance race with these cars, so it should be a blast. The 24 Hour modifier will be great and this game does it better than anyone.
New-to-us drivers are welcome. However, an existing member must either vouche for your safe driving and knowledge of race rules or the new driver must have at least an in game safety rating of E or better. Outright speed is not important. Drivers on these boards are very helpful, so please feel free to ask questions!
