What were your problems tonight mate, I missed what was said during the race about it. Sorry I just woke up, but my Xbox was having issues processing everything once we got above ten people, I started having steering issues. I would steer a little and it would be fine, but once I steered a little more and it would completely oversteer and spin me out. People were saying it was my CPU not keeping up with everything, with makes sense because it was fine when we had 6-7 people in the lobby. Yeah if you're on anything except for the higher performing Xbox One X, the processor won't be able to handle much over 7-8 cars on track at a time which causes the steering issues. There is a ton of computing that the Xbox needs to do for just one car let alone fourteen cars, weather changes, marbles, dirt and rubber accumulation on the track etc. Slightly Mad Studios have even admitted that they overshot what the Xbox could handle but they had to have known these issues prior to release. I bet it's Moneysoft's fault, they probably used SMS as guinea pigs and pushed them to make the game too much for the Vanilla Xboxes to handle in an attempt to up their sales for the Xbox One X. It wouldn't be the first confirmed time Moneysoft forced a company to due their bidding, proceeding by shutting them down (i.e. Ensemble Studios). Codemasters is the only thing that saved SMS (or rather what's left of their original vision for a Community assisted racing simulator). |

I didn't know Dan was on our Chip Ganassi Racing Team with us, that was a nice surprise and great finish from him too. With Dan finishing 2nd, Dave in 3rd, and me in 6th, Chip Ganassi has some nice points to start with. Wasn't Joeri going to be the last Chip Ganassi car? We'll need all the help we can to beat those Honda Sh!t Petersons 😆 lol. I was, but have dropped out of the Indycar league after the first test. Couldn't get the right feeling with these cars and with the huge list of reserves I rather gave up my spot. For the coming months I will not be driving anymore on the Xbox, fully commited to iRacing at this point. Will be driving the 24h of LeMans with 3 other guys, meaning I have to do a lot of training to drive 6-8 hours  |

We’ve all had races like that mate so keep smiling, if you need any engineering advice then please ask and we’ll do our best to help Hey, anytime I get to hang out with some mates and have a laugh is a good time regardless so I still enjoyed it regardless of how the race goes. I'm definitely going to need some help figuring out these open wheelers, I thought my setup was decent but I must've fiddled with it a bit too much and killed it. That's what I get for saving over my base tune! On another note, I know the cars couldn't be further from eachother in philosophy but I managed to get the 72D for the vintage F1 league running great at the RBR but this one stumped me bigtime. Just when I think I've got this tuning thing figured out PC2 pulls the rug from under me again. But as one of your fellow Englishmen and a sim racing youtuber likes to say; Onwards and upwards, and all that! |

Setups are a bit of a black art at times.. dampers for instance always give me a headache lol. Definitely things are quite different for the vintage cars and I just think you get a much better idea of what the car is doing with those cars so setups changes tend to be clearer. |

Dampers, what are those lol! I almost never touch that page when it comes to tuning. I just don't have enough understanding about it and don't really get how to tune it to help me. Sometimes K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple, sToOpId!) is really the way to do it.

I had just started to kind of figure them out in the GTLM cars in the last couple rounds of that series but I normally only make small adjustments if I mess with them. In my experience tinkering with them it's hard to make a car a lot better but really easy to ruin it. Usually I try to leave the dampers alone unless I'm desperate for more handling though |
