I'm not sure if it is everywhere but at least in the US ACC is one of the free play days games so it's free to play this weekend if anyone has been wanting to check it out but not pay for it.

It has some frustrating short comings..no FOV adjustment and no button box. But, the physics, cars, and tracks are very very good. I gave a fair shot to PCars 3 and it's incredibly bad, just fun for a quick race here and there after some cold beers. If you go to ACC, advice is to pick a car and stick with it until you learn it. They all need a completely different feel to drive quickly.

I've pretty much stuck with the Aston other than when doing their special events that force you into another car. Have they updated those yet? Haven't been on it for a while but last I tried ts still the same events that we've had since the start!!

They all need a completely different feel to drive quickly. I definitely agree with this but I would say if you stay within the same car type e.g. front engine or mid engine (or the Porsche if you're one of the lucky ones that can drive it) and be relatively comfortable. I started with the Ferrari but I've found I'm a bit quicker in the Audi but it's harder to drive. Another great thing about the game is IMO the default setups are very quick with no changes. As someone who has little patience for setting a car up I really like the work they put into the default setups.

They still haven't updated the special events and we're coming up on 4 months since release which is crazy. In one of the recent updates they updated the layout to the special events so I thought they would start updating them but nothing.
