HONDA PRESS RELEASE November 10th 2018
AJ Foyt has noticed Hurt MaGurts affinity for the number 41 and has offered him a test in the #41 A.J. Foyt Enterprises Dallara IR-12 Honda on Saturday November 17th at Willow Springs Raceway.
Contract Negotiations with Penske Racing are underway for the move from Chevrolet, however nothing is final and much will depend on the upcoming test session.
Honda would like to point out that despite what is posted for the 2018 season sign in, the #41 is available in both Road Course and Oval configurations. Mr Foyt looks forward to meeting Hurt and all the drivers at the test.

I should be back in time for this Dallara IR-12 speedway RLL racing #16 You’re going to need the Road Course version rather than the oval spec 🙂

I kinda wondered about that - road course it is! More downdraft with that version right? The track is pretty open and fast though no?

Once again the Red tyres are making my wheel shake and rattle after about 9 laps. This is really a piss off, and a handicap, I'm going to have to run the Blacks for the whole race. I'm just too scared that the shaking and rattling is going to damage my wheel. Right now my fastest lap on Reds is a 1:03.9 and on the Blacks it's 1:05.9

I'll have a look over on the pCars forums to see if there's been anything about it more recently.

Wait, are we running a race, or just testing? I thought we were just testing? I’m cool with either

Wait, are we running a race, or just testing? I thought we were just testing? I’m cool with either I assumed it would be a test race, but if it's just an open practice session i'm fine with that. Either way i'll be doing long stints rather than quali tests.
