Gents, Some of you may know that we also run an Indycar Series on Project Cars 2, as with the F1 League the races are full distance with no assists and we’d like to invite everyone that drives in the F1 to race with us on the Indycar Championship consoleracing.boards.net/board/89/project-cars-2-indycar-league If anyone requires assistance with car setups or any additional advice then please ask. Our next event is the Road America Indy Grand Prix on Saturday night 9pm uk time I really hope that some of you can support this series Cheers Dave

I agree with the others. 100% race distance and no assists. The realism and strategy is what makes it fun. That plus dedicated gentleman drivers.

It's a no from me too Dave. Thanks for the offer but I've never been fussed on the Pcars multiplayer and would prefer to play other games really.

IndyCars have the same type steering wheel as F1. You could use your F1 wheel without issue.

Even though my previous post sounded a bit negative, I agree that 100% and no assists does make it the best racing and with real racers, we just need to try and up the game to get more involved..

Unfortunately the response to any posts i've made about the league have not brought any enquiries. Fur example the have now been 49 views of the post I made on the Codies league forum but not a single comment or driver interest as a result.

I put a post up there too with a similar result, we’re clearly not looking in the right area, from most of the posts that I read on the Codies forum people are looking for shorter races with less restrictions. There must be a community that is interested in the more realistic racing that we do here rather than the watered down options available?

Pretty much all the places I have looked do not run the format we do which tells it's own story really. We are very much a niche area in all respects with the racing we run here whether that be Modern F1, Indycar or Vintage F1.

This is why i suggested being more flexible with the calendar Not sure a review of the calendar would help either really, I feel it’s a combination of everything we do in this league, like Peter says a special breed..

For now I think we should just keep plugging away until the nights start to draw in then we may see an improvement in our collective number, that said it is difficult to maintain enthusiasm for any Grand Prix distance event with a small grid of drivers. I’ll continue to post on our social media channels to try and increase our numbers
