That's right, I'd forgotten you've had terrible luck here. I'll be fighting for the triple win this year🙂. This could be your year Pete. I love this track too, but it's too bad Reims or the Charade Circuit isn't the game because that's what real F1 raced on in '70. The last time F1 actually raced here was in 1968 and it's because of Jo Schlesser's fatal accident by Six Freres.

I did some cursory practice early yesterday morning just to get an idea of this car around this great track. AI at 40 were running low 2:08's but best I managed in the few laps I completed was a 2:09.4. Such a bumpy surface and those kerbs and grass verges are deadly!!

Managed to get in about an hour last night and am still finding this car a real handful at the rear end. I just can't fathom a way to tame the back which often slides out from me through the faster corners like turn 1 and 12 (Virage Du Paradis). Turn 9 also sometimes catches me out in the same way. I did manage to get my time down to 2:07.5 and was on for a mid to low 2:06 on my final lap before losing the left-rear by just going a fraction too close to the hay bales at turn 9 and losing my left-rear doh!! As with Spa and Bannochbrae I have a car that I can get around the track cleanly but as soon as I try to push it starts to get squeaky bum time and that rear end starts to protest. I have watched back replays to try to identify what is the cause of the problem but am still in the dark. I have adjusted tyre pressures, springs, ride height, ARB's but have yet to find a solution with this car.. it's a mystery to me even though we are approaching the halfway point of the season

Xbox Live playing up for me again tonight like it did last week before our race. Won't let me play any downloaded content at all so Project Cars is a no go for me until it's resolved.
I can only play games for which I have the disc.. totally unacceptable state of affairs.
I've checked the service status and it's a known problem which they are trying to fix and not something just local to my console.

Fingers crossed that you can make it. We'll just have to do a short practice session and race next week or something if it's still acting up tomorrow.

Well I had some running tonight. Tough to control the car. Had to turn the pressures well down again. Had a 205 I think. Still felt ragged. Hope to just keep it on the road tomorrow.

I am having the same issue as Peter. I've been trying to practice since I got out of work. Its been a known issue for 5 hours now. It's really crappy isn't it Greg. Not being able to use purchased content because of their system errors is not acceptable. They need to disable this online check thing until they can guarantee that this problem is completely resolved.

I don't think that is that far from what I have been using other than those pressures and I have 8/8 aero. I really don't know how you can run consistently with the pressure that hard as I find the grip level is greatly reduced.
