Happy with my Dallara tune - high 101s and 102s with red or black and full tank at Willow feeling stable and nearly in control. I’ve been practicing racin AI. Everything sure as hell changes with dirty air and drafting with these cars! And....ahem.....aero damage occurs rather easily......

Welcome to our new drivers, I’ve sent friend requests out to you all.
Just to go through the admin of our league, we start the party at 8 30 UK time and get the lobby up and running at 8 45 so we can get into the event at 9.
When we 1st started this league, we had issues with connectivity and to rectify this we insist that everyone runs IPV 4 rather than the IPV 6 which will help with any issues.
I’m really looking forward to racing with you all and it’s pleasing to see our numbers growing.
See you all on Saturday
Dave

Nine signed up so far... looking very good Had my first run out here last night since our Winter test back in November (can you believe that was 3 and a half months ago now )) I was well off the pace in that hours running with a best lap around 4 seconds off the times I was doing at that test!! No idea what that was about and i'll need some major improvement to get to where I was before at that rate.

Very nice, mid 1:04s are the best I can muster on Blacks but consistent at 1:05. What's your gearing and downforce at?

I'm still struggling to get back to where I was back in November at the practice session. Just finished another session but still only in the 1:02's so about 2 seconds shy of where I was.
I'm using mid range aero at present. That's what I used in November to great success. I've tried increasing it but just don't find any real benefit.
I've got the tyre temps to about where I want them now but still a lot to work to do in terms of the tyres and their respective stint lengths as I haven't had the time to run any practice races.

I haven't touched my tyre pressures since the test here months ago. The Black tyres are tending to overheat a bit though the long T2 and through T3/4/5, but not nearly as bad as the Reds do. But i can't use the Reds anyway because of the wheel shaking i get after they wear down a bit. I did play with the aero, but the more i added the slower i went, so mid aero seems best here. There are too many long fast sections.

I found i was slowing too much for those corners. T1 is pretty easy to take almost at full speed. Just drop a gear and turn in. T3 is trickier though, if you get the line wrong and the speed wrong you get thrown well wide of the apex. I think T3 is the toughest corner on the circuit.

With some tweaks and lower final drive i've managed to bring my time down to 1:04.2 and consistent in the high 1:04s with Blacks. I think with the right gearing I can improve these times further.
