I think i have secured a copy of the game. I'm going to have a bit of a drive to get it, but the store is supposed to be holding it for me. Fingers crossed.

Guys is there a rush to use the new game for Silverstone? Has anyone tested the multiplayer for issues and stability yet? Generally we've given the new games a two week test period before using them in the league and it's usually proved about right. Any glaring issues tend to surface in that time and if game braking a delay can be then be put in place until a fix is released. It's always the way that once you have the new game going back to play the old one loses much of its appeal.

I think it's all good to go on this now anyway. With Karl having got it that makes 10 will have it in time for Silverstone.

Gents, some of my colleagues are running a 2019 race tonight, there’s only 6 or 7 plus me, so if you’re about it might be a good opportunity to test out the Multiplayer side of things. No idea which circuit yet but it’s normally 50% distance and Lights Out at 8PM UK time, I’ll be online so jump in the party if you want to do some race simulation. Cheers Dave How did the test session go... All smooth or did any problems surface?

I’m in boys. I think the car has a new feeling it’s feels like a good step forward you have to respect the car with the speed, think it’s better steering wheel gaming. Cockpit view a lot better ran a race with full halo on which I couldn’t do on 18 as it blocked to much on view for me but feel it’s better on this . All in all a good step forward for me .

Last night was fun and with no online issues it seems, we ran full Grand Prix distance as per the league but with no damage or Safety Car, the car is a handful but if you treat it right it really rewards in terms of lap time, on a cautious note the race management of the cars systems are more pronounced especially the Energy Store which requires close attention regarding charge and deployment, the tyres give good grip throughout the compounds and the track gets faster as it rubbers in. The starts are certainly more difficult to get to grips with and a good preparation in the Formation Lap seems essential to get heat into the tyres and brakes for the launch off the grid.
I think the usual suspects will be up the front next weekend but hopefully us midfield battlers can move closer to the sharp end.
Cheers
Dave

Interesting feedback Dave, why didn't you run the SC? There were a few things different to the normal procedure, we turned off the damage, no Parc-Ferme and no Safety Car, Neale maybe able to answer that question as I didn’t tune up the lobby 🙂

Interesting feedback Dave, why didn't you run the SC? Hi Gareth , Didn’t run the safety car as we were all basically new to 2019, if we had I’m sure it would have been more safety car than a test and practice session, I am planning on doing another one next week with everything on just to confirm it all works as it should if your interested.

I knew from my beta experience that it would be well received and i'm glad to hear that the more difficult energy management was not dumbed down as that was one of the many things I liked about it but there were a few moans . How are you finding the lack of ballast setting in so far as getting a balanced car?
