Goodmorning everyone! I am probably the least suitable person to make proposals, because I am one of the latest arrivals and in the past I have not been able to always be present continuously because my work does not allow me.
I have noticed that lately the interest has been married towards the PC. I have played simulation games on PC and I must say that it is a whole other world than the console.
But I also believe that, like me, there are other people who would like to continue having fun with the console and therefore I would like to make a proposal in this space which is dedicated to proposals.
I propose an INDYCAR single event evening in Long Beach or Daytona, free practice, qualifying, race, Friday 2 June, with free aids and above all free view. Mine is a simple request to the administration that also applies to a possible future Indycar championship, because I don't have much time to train, and maybe I'm not even the only one, and learn the circuit, especially the grand prix circuits.
This is my proposal.

I think running races as authentic as possible is one of the main reasons people have tended to race with us tbh. So introducing assists and non cockpit view would not really interest many among our number.
However, if you know enough likely drivers for such an event you can certainly organise something to allow them to race.
A separate championship running assists and free view would be considered if there were enough interest and I would create an area of the forum for that if it was something that proved popular.

I'm thinking of running a practice race in a few weeks time if there is enough interest. I would like to run it at a circuit that we've not run in the league and would propose Brno as the venue. This is a track that I've long felt could be really good for Indycar and provide some good racing.
I am unavailable to race until the 31st July so that's the date i'm suggesting.
20 minute practice, 20 minute qualifying and one hour race.
Please let me know if you are interested. A minimum of 8 drivers I think will be needed to give this any legs.

Then I think that to get to your levels, I will still need a lot of time and a lot of practice !! |

When I joined this happy little group I was way off the pace to feel competitive. My first race I was lapped twice and I spun more than I went straight. With a few well placed questions and lots of practice I am now comfortable racing with people that were not too long ago much much better at this than I am. We are all here to answer questions. Just ask. |

When I joined this happy little group I was way off the pace to feel competitive. My first race I was lapped twice and I spun more than I went straight. With a few well placed questions and lots of practice I am now comfortable racing with people that were not too long ago much much better at this than I am. We are all here to answer questions. Just ask. I thank you all for the answers. Actually something there is that I would like to ask the group. If someone can help me build a good trim to start. Or at least if someone can give me some precise indication, I speak of some parameters to be included in development to start training. I realize that this can be an unusual request and that every one is jealous of its own trim, but I can guarantee that with me it can be extremely peaceful! 😁 I don't think we can become competitive only because someone passes you a setup .. and then these cars are not easy for a beginner. then there is some good man ?? 😁😁 |

Not everyone's setup will work for you and your driving style. Try a few different ones. If you want to modify somone's setup, make sure you try your adjustments one at a time. Trying to use too many adjustments at once can really throw your learning off. |
