But like you've said yourself setups are very style dependant and what is good for me may but necessarily work for you. I run the Honda too so you would need to use the same car. |

I run a Chevy right now with alternate tires, and -2 from the default downforce numbers. I'm running around 1:44.5. My luck that's about 4 seconds off the pace.  Brno is a blast to drive in the Indy car. Even if I can't use your setup, I know your ghost will be fun to try and catch. |

For the Chevy, I kind of have two base setups to start with and make some adjustments to gearing, etc. per track, at my level though I'm much better off driving a car I sort of know what it's going to do and just trying to run solid clean laps, the really fast guys could probably mop the floor with me if they were driving a stock Formula Rookie and spotted me a head start...
The setups are a bit rubbish and not made for leaderboards but I'll try to put a lap down at Brno and maybe another track so you could try the two of them. I've basically cribbed them from leaderboards, Youtube, and forum posts and then worked them out for me from there. All I ask is if anyone has any input on them please share with the rest of the class.
Anyway, making my interest more of less official, Ryan/outsider819, #12 Penske.

Looking good at the moment with 9 signups so far. I'll probably not get much time to put any laps in until after next weekend but I'll do my best to get at least a few TT laps in ASAP.

I have really strange hours for Xbox time, though. Will try to get a lap in time trials on this and one other track, won't be fast, just valid. * Was a couple of pretty sloppy and slow laps, lots of rolled corners and missed apexes, but two basic setups are up, if anyone needs a good laugh. The one I'd use to start at a fast,flowy track like Brno is at Brno, the one I'd use to start at a place like Long Beach is, guess where, Long Beach. Use at own risk, apologies in advance! |

I turned on 41 .. the better I did was 1.40.418
I would like to know from some more experienced pilot if these are times I don't say good, but at least good that at least let me "stay in the group".

psykotikdrummer If you're going for outright pace at the very least you'll need a new set of sticker reds, gearing isn't set for the track yet and I'd probably take a turn or two out of the front wing and maybe two or three out of the rear. Let me know if it works!

It is currently on extended break. We were planning on starting it up again but it was felt a break was needed after several seasons. We weill definitely look to get going again at some point so watch that forum area for updates.

Just checking that everyone signed up below is still going ot make this practice next Saturday?
PRACTICE EVENT SATURDAY, 31st JULY AT 9pm UK
I'm thinking of running a practice race in a few weeks time if there is enough interest. I would like to run it at a circuit that we've not run in the league and would propose Brno as the venue. This is a track that I've long felt could be really good for Indycar and provide some good racing.
I am unavailable to race until the 31st July so that's the date i'm suggesting.
20 minute practice, 20 minute qualifying and one hour race.
Please let me know if you are interested. A minimum of 8 drivers I think will be needed to give this any legs.
